Haircut Tutorial: How to Cut and Style Long Tapered Pompadour

In this How to Cut & Style, Mike 'Puglsy' Conti takes us through one of his favourite cuts, the Long Tapered Pompadour.
Influenced by a broad range of styles due to his exposure to many different subcultures and customers, Mike is one of the few barbers that can nail pretty much any style. Though, as you can see in this video, he comes into his own when cutting classic styles and is a master of the modern Taper.
The concept of a Classic Pompadour involves sweeping hair upwards from the face and worn high over the forehead. This is a typical men's hairstyle from the 1950s and early 1960s, which was worn by celebrities such as Elvis Presley and James Dean. The pomp has remained a steadfast style for the guy who wants to look just as sharp as those vintage trendsetters.
With the addition of a tight Taper, the cut becomes very versatile. Perfect for the office, but just as at home at the beach or in a bar.

A Taper on the sideburns looks great and professional on every man. It doesn't fail on getting a classic haircut.
Maybe I'll try this cut after the Quarantine because I grew up my hair and I really like Medium length hair.
