- Tracy's header finaly came back from the powder coaters and it looks great! We get to have some fun unwrapping all the pieces, then it goes on the motor. Overall a pretty easy install, and it fit like a glove (after applying a little muscle in just the right spots). Lets go!

The sidewinder with that exit tip setup has to be my favorite setup.
Good install video buddy.
Thanks! I like the sound of this exhaust (I have the same one on my bus) but it makes valve adjustments a pain. I'd recommend the v-band clamp for the muffler so you can take it apart easier.
Looks really good! love to hear it!
Nice looking that
Sweet! I kinda want a sidewinder
Bro!!! Was so looking forward to hearing it run! 😢
You can hear it run in the next video on the playlist
No lower tin??
You have installed a stock (NOS?) exhaust and this A1 sidewinder. What is your favorite for your bus?
@Ireland831 I like the sound of the sidewinder, but it makes valve adjustments more complicated. I'm currently running the vintage speed exhaust and it's not only quieter, it hides behind the bumper out of the way. I did have to put extensions on the trailer hitch to cleat the tailpipe but it doesn't look too bad.
i want exhaust leaks
🤣
Gotta use them studs and brass exhaust nuts! Once you do, you'll never use anything else!
That's my preference for sure. Too easy to strip the heads with these bolts.
Hello, where did you buy this exhaust? Because I can't find the model you have 😢
This is an A1 sidewinder header from A1 mufflers in CA. The owner had it powdercoated satin black.
@@OldVolksTV what Web site ?
They're available from several shops. A quick Google search found this one A1 Muffler and header 1 5/8 with Vband Clamp: Pierside Parts g.co/kgs/EBY9No
@@OldVolksTV thank you 👌👌👌
Is it a open exhaust or is there baffles in it .
I see its a reverse turbo muff.
Yeah, it's a turbo muffler. Same one I have on my bus but with the tailpipe extension.
Is that white residue scratches on the ceramic coating?
No, it's scuffs from my dirty hands. Wiped right off with a wet rag.
😢 Can’t believe we sat through that whole video and didn’t get to hear it run I don’t know if I need to buy that exhaust system or not I damn sure won’t be subscribing he gets a thumbs down for sure
You can hear it on the next video. It sounds great. Buy that exhaust.
