Jeez part of me cringes knowing how dangerous glaciers are, but the rest of me thinks this is perhaps the coolest kayaking footage I've seen for awhile
No way! Whenever I would watch documentaries and see these channels of water in glaciers, I would fantasize about what it would be like to kayak those, for one cold 🥶 and probably dangerous, but also extremely beautiful! Well, someone has done it!!! That's amazing.
Complete Amazement!! Absolutely brilliant... Shockingly courageous... and MY goodness... the production planning and editing it took to get ths! Major Kudos!!
Thank you for taking me there❤this is one of the purest I’ve ever seen. I’ve been hooked on kayak videos as an antidepressant for approximately 7 years . Pure magical soul healing escapism.
I thought I was a fairly decently kayaker until I seen this amazing video which was truely awesome and realized there's many different levels of skill, experience & in my personal opinion "faith in God" in those freezing temperatures " kayaking through the icy valley of the shadow of death I shall have no fear for thy paddle & ADHD will comfort me" (Just saying, lol) through a constantly changing cave formation's as it melts & freeze again & again as well as unstable cave integrity as we seen crumbling & breaking up around him & within this magical crystal clear melted ice flow with a perfect shootout and landing. "Just amazing" Bravo Aleix⚡🥶
Don’t think that water wasn’t freezing and to do it without gloves is insane….although some shots showed gloves. It must have been thoroughly researched and supported.
This is one of the most hard core things I have ever seen in my entire life. Huge props!! Absolutely mind blowing footage. I have watched this like five times now.
Red Bull, of course. The behind the scenes activities to pull off these scenes would be a feat in themselves. I remember paddling in March in southern Ontario on the Credit River near Oakville. We slid into the river over the shore ice. While playing to loosen up I got myself broadside, absent mindedly tipped upstream (DOH!) and was inverted in an instant. In my urge to get right side I rolled so hard my momentum was too much and I spun myself in a second time, LOL. It was an hour before we reached a spot where we could get out. My heart was beating like a rabbit that whole time but to keep paddling generated body heat I would lose if I stopped anywhere. 48 years ago.
So many films try to build drama with a background story, introducing characters, fast cuts and loud music, and just end up feeling like they're trying too hard to manipulate. This, on the other hand doesn't need to tell you why it's good or what you should feel. It's just powerful and real.
Beautiful, without music it really brings the nature and video alive. The water looks amazing and the parts where you can see him paddling through the holes in the ice is so rad. A+
Great adventure, great pictures and a great sportsman ! I would fear, to get wet feet … 😂 Impressive also to see the animals (wales etc.), which are living in this special area of our planet !
Holy shit!! i been watching these since about 2016 maybe 2017 mayyybe longer, but that said no way this doesn't take first....right? Like maybe of the past decade lol. This would be one hell of an experience. Just insane! 👌🙌🙌
Unbelievable! Courage bordering on insanity. Amazing footage, thnx for sharing.
Loved the absence of music (getting a little tired of loud rock instrumentals for extreme sports 😉)
Totally agree, this perfect!
or rap.
But sports are triplexxxx xxxtreeeemmmeeeeer dude. YEEAAAAHHHHH
You’re absolutely right!
i Play that kind of music 🎸 and I DON'T want it shoved down my throat when the amps are off !
Hard to believe that little kayak can keep the weight and heft of his enormous balls afloat! Very cool video, thanks!
Lol right?
😂😂😂😂😂
Jeez part of me cringes knowing how dangerous glaciers are, but the rest of me thinks this is perhaps the coolest kayaking footage I've seen for awhile
For a while or for ever?
Definitely the “Coldest”.
Dudes got the largest set on the planet….
Your wife is more dangerous.
Somebody answer this for me: why does tossing a ball around get millions of views, but this kind of badassery is lucky to get a few thousand?
Because there are a lot of Tossers😉
Those people want fame, this person wants life and adventure
Because youtube sucks!!
@@roccomiller2647dont judge by appearences
You clearly haven't been drinking enough cheap beer.
Wow. Between the Internet, GoPro cameras, and guys with huge balls, it’s a great time to be alive. Kevin
..speaking of GoPro: where does the helmet mounted one disappear after the first waterfall dive? (0:51)
🤣
Well, sans the balls and testicular fortitude, I’d say live Vicariously 😅

Right 😂
That was one of the coolest things I have ever seen...thank you
Okay, that was a masterpiece !
Thought he was going to end up at a convenience store...pick up some lunch....then paddle back home. lol.
Unbelievably cool, this guy is awesome.

My hands would be ice 🧊 cold 🥶! Awesome movie clip! Amazing footage!
Dry suit territory here - not as cold as it looks but still damn cold.

@@TurnerRentz I bet that water is a balmy 35-45 degrees Fahrenheit until he gets to the main Sea then possibly a few degrees warmer.
Effing tallent and guts! Unreal!
And so beautiful.

ASMR…
I could fall asleep to this.
That little adrenaline-filled "Hoof!" he breathes out before dropping into the start of the run. Pure courage.
How are his balls so big in such cold water?!?
That was insane.
That is really insane and super dangerous, wow.
Well done - absolutely brilliant - balls of steel combined with excellent photography.
That checked so many fear boxes actually found myself wanting to turn it off at times. Most intense 2-1/2mins of film i’ve seen in years.
That first section in the ice tunnel just looks like the best funnest thing ever!

In the proper sense of the word: Awesome.
Absolutely stunning work by all involved. EPIC !
Some of these flows lead to deep fissures under the ice, surprised he wasn't unalived
WOW!! That is incredible!! Love the whale footage!😊
And the Saber tooth manatees
