How to Make a Pottery Spoon Rest - Beginners Pottery Wheel Project

This project is perfect for those who are just getting aquatinted with their potter's wheel. It's great for practicing centring, coning, opening out as well as pulling up. The walls don't need to be super tall which means you are more likely to end up with something at the end of your throwing session (rather than all your clay in the reclaim bucket😬)
Please don't forget that failure is absolutely ok and is to be expected when you are learning something new. Pottery is HARD! Every crappy pot will teach you something. Any time at the wheel is never wasted - even if you end up with nothing.

You sould make some old style clay canning jars and big pickeling containers. They say it preserves food better then glass jars do because of some unkown container breathing of some kind. Just some thoughts, cool projects !
