The Unity Dev I think by underrated this person meant that it isn’t getting the publicity it deserves. It is being overshadowed by other anime that are more action packed or well known. Take for example the following: SAO season 3, Mob Psycho season 2, and the return of Fairy tail. Fans have been waiting for those for years. Kaze ga Tsuyoku is a new comer and sadly it’s hard to get press if you don’t have a shock factor or some sort of gimmick. It’s just good ol’ great story telling and that’s why I love it. Plus it brings me back to my competing days with running and I’ve yet to watch an anime about that topic.

The difference between this and Haikyuu is that it actually encourages you to get up and do it because not everyone can play volleyball but anyone can run (unless if you have a condition). I like watching Haikyuu but I dont like playing volleyball even if i find the anime awesome. But when I watch Run With the Wind, I really feel like running and it would not matter If I'm fast or slow. This is my personal opinion.
I think it's because in Haikyuu they all seems already so strong and "gifted" but in Run With The Wind they're all struggling to achieve something, we can see them give up and rise again and again. They're more ordinary so we feel closer to them

I weighted 104kg and watching haikyuu helped me to get to 77kg lmao. I have bad legs and doctor said I would get tired quickly. As a kid I always, always hate running. If it's not for Haikyuu and Run With The Wind, I wouldn't have known that I love running. In three month I'll have my first 5k run. Even with this legs, this quickly tired, often have complications legs, I love running. Haikyuu and Run With The Wind literally change my overall physique and health 🤍

Tbh I have watched Run with the Wind for like three times and still can’t stop pressing the ‘replay’ button. This anime is fantastic, what a shame that it’s underrated :(

Whenever an anime has its soundtrack made by Yuki Hayashi, Yutaka Yamada or Hiroyuki Sawano, it is a must watch for me. I swear they can make anything an incredible and unique experience just by adding their sounds, like haikyuu for instance, it’s incredible and beautiful they way it is but with Yuki Hayashi’s tracks that blend in and vastly enhance the emotions in the show, the sad ones and the action packed ones as well it just creates something you want to experience over and over again

I can't find any problems witb Run With The Wind. I mean, we have such wonderful plot, inspirational characters (Haiji and Prince made the greatest imapct 😭 and Prince's caharcter development was a blast), WONDERFUL OPENING AND ENDING SONGS (I can't stop listening), the OSTs hit MY CORE, this anime is purely underrated. 💕 will ba watching it over and over again 😊

It's funny. I came across this anime a few times on recommended lists, but it didn't really stand out to me. Then one day, I was just listening to some anime songs, and I just randomly start listening to one in particular that I hadn't heard before. It was pleasant and soothing. I was away from youtube doing some other work, and then 2:22 starts. I alt-tabbed as fast as my fingers could move, and I was introduced to Run with the wind and this gorgeous soundtrack. One of the best anime of the season, and I got to watch it simply because youtube randomly played this gem of a song to me. Funny how things work, isn't it.
