@@nevillewheeldon1693 I was more than thankful for your turret response. I can tell by how the list of questions {and viewers} has grown that time would be in short supply for you. You're doing such a great job all by yourself, that I fully understand why you cannot reply to all my comments. Stay well and thanks again
Thanks for the updates good to see her running those merlins again

Lindo bombardeio .
Is that another big peace of Lanc bottom right at 4.19? It looks very Canadian with that color scheme.
John Chatterton it’s a replica fuselage built from the extended nose removed from lancaster KB976
What year is this ........we got a month but unless I missed it......no year!
Neville do you know why they will be pulling off the rear fuselage at a later date, for what purpose?
Humpty Dumpty to take it apart and make it airworthy and then put it back on ready for when they finally put it through inspection for airworthiness
It's all part of a 10 year plan to return the aircraft to fully certified airworthiness. Here (hopefully) is a link to another of Neville's fine videos where the plan is explained. ua-cam.com/video/UsZporj8nQU/v-deo.html
Hi Humpty Dumpty, Liam ,Peter and Alexander said it all Thanks for watching mate.
@@nevillewheeldon1693 Ok thank you all for the replies.
Something does not look right with the left landing gear wheel. Chanted it appears.
John E the undercarriage is designed to allow the main wheels lean by a few degrees.
Why split the fuselage?
Hi Moondyne to make it airworthy. Check On this link ua-cam.com/video/UsZporj8nQU/v-deo.html (its at the top of this page) Andrew explains in more detail
Any idea as when it will fly?
Seven years plus , thanks for watching Philip
Why splitting in half?
Brad Taylor To rebuild that section to airworthy
@@liamarmstrong2142 So they build new fins first and attach that weight to a weak tail structure? Now they must be very careful that they don't damage those new fins. Seems like a backwards plan to me.
Brad Taylor the tail structure isn’t weak, it just isn’t airworthy.
@@BradleyWinder96 If it's not air worthy, it is therefore weak, as in the accepted standard for air worthiness. It is weaker than the accepted standard.
After a number of WW2 aircraft had their wings fall off over here during flight killing everybody on board, all bombers of that era were grounded until inspections were carried out. Wing root bolts were all replaced whether damaged or not. My term of usage of "weak" indicates that there is enough possible suspicion of "weakness" to split the aircraft. Otherwise, why do it. Is this a known weakness in this aircraft?
I love it fantastic work!
Please can you film the functioning of the bomb aiming device and bomb release mechanism on memorial flight over Berlin, Brussels and why not Strasburg as well!
When British were real engineers.
I think it's still in there Robert
Why are there no chocks on startup ?, that's an elementary mistake also the videoing and editing is of poor quality, there are many vloggers on here who could do you far better quality results.
AvionicsGuru shut up you fool go back to your flight simulator
AvionicsGuru you seem to be in a minority here. All of the comments on these videos are positive and everyone on the project(s) love the videos Nev produces and generously shares here on UA-cam. The chocks are removed and brakes applied prior to start as standard procedure as outlined by the insurance company and in 20 years there hasn’t ever been a problem using this method.
