Thanks. I've been thinking about getting an Arduino to learn how to build electronic devices. This kit caught my eye. Would you recommend a tool kit and/or a book of simple projects for beginners? I have no experience. I would start small.
It depends on how motivated they are. This is not one of those 100 in 1 kiddie kits. If you don't have some basic electronic and programming knowledge, you'll have learn some of that before you can really take advantage of this kit. Arduinos are used in the real world for doing real tasks. A number of low end 3d printers use them as their main controller for instance. The included parts will let you learn how to make one do things that would actually be useful. Basically if you understand why you would want to learn how to use a micro controller, you probably can gain a lot from using this kit to learn. As a 'toy' it's likely to fall flat as you realize you have to write an actual program to do something as simple as making an led blink.

@@sogerc1 type in arduino starter kit into aliexpress and you will get the OEM supplier with it too. They are being sold on aliexpress from the supplier for 30$ while the amazon elegoo brand is selling it for 40. They likely buy in bulk so get the per unit cost Lower.
@@MrRishik123 I like to buy just the exact pieces I need. Although sometimes you can't buy just one piece, like last time the cheapest option was to buy 10 photoresistors so that still leaves me with some clutter. When am I going to need 9 more photoresistors...
LOL $0.71 for anything shipped is comical. Wow. I guess you can get this stuff for cheaper but you'll have to do a lot of clicking to assemble your own kit. Pretty neat how it's even cheaper on there whoa.
