  • Gramophone Cinema (The Kinephone) is an optical toy made in England circa 1925. This is basically a variant design of a Zoetrope and is designed to be placed on a turntable and turns your crank phonograph into a cartoon cinema. There are five animated discs, including Charlie Chaplin and Felix the Cat, along with the slotted viewing drum all in the original box.

    I like it but it isn't too interesting! If this device could incorporate music while the imagery played it would be a lot more fun!
