Was anyone else pleasantly surprised how good a match Jade vs Piper was?? Im not even a Jade hater but i was just so proud of her and Piper going at it like that putting on a hell of a solid match that was much longer than just ' 2 minutes' , great job guys
Yep, Piper brought out the best in Jade. Credit to both, the chemistry was excellent.
Yeah, it was a great match. I think it was especially good as Piper really seemed to be holding her own against Jade - the first time we've really seen that.
Piper was a great choice. She's a realistic challenge and she helped Jade look great too. The match was so smooth and did what it needed to do.
I was, when it came to taking and performing her power moves but...
...why did she have so much trouble taking clotheslines?
I still think Jade needs a few more moves up her sleeve, and a bit more practice. Her flashiness and strength, however, will get her by for now. She needs help on that mic/promo work too, because yikes.
It's so amazing that Roman Reigns is getting over as a babyface without even being on TV. Paul Heyman is giving an absolutely brilliant performance, as usual 👏
It's like we're watching a hostage situation.
Why fans see Roman who was a nasty heel for 4 years as a babyface because somebody in his family is finally fighting back in a real way is beyond me.
This'll be the 1st time HHH decides who's king and queen of the ring. Hopefully it'll go back to being what it used to be, a platform to push a mid carder to the main event (praying for Gunther vs Ilja)

I was really happy to see Piper get a match that let her come off as a proper threat - she's great on comedy, but here she showed she can come off as a "monster", too. Both of them came off looking great.
She’s going to die of a heart attack in 3 years.
As a kid, KotR was my fav PPV. Especially when a big chunk of the tourney was shown on the PPV. Yes, I'm even counting the time Mable won!

I never heard anyone actually say it would be TITLE vs. TITLE. I only heard CHAMPION vs. CHAMPION. That doesn't even mean a TITLE/CHAMPIONSHIP is on the line.

They mentioned that the contract signing is for the Undisputed WWE Championship...I wish it was title vs title though!

Them costing the tournament I def like, not sure I want them to be their first challengers.
I think they need Candice and Indy to pick up some wins in singles and tag matches, with a focus on tag.
Maybe have an angle where they’re good and win sometimes as singles, then help each other get better and as they start picking up big wins as a tag team, they realize they’re better together but barely lose to Jade and Bianca somehow (injury?).
If Candice and Indy get really over, you can also have them have a rematch at some point and possibly take the titles off them.
It can be temporary so Jade/Bianca get them back to let them go a bit longer before eventually breaking up and feuding, or they can have them losing the belts be the start of their breakup & feud.
Thanks for doing these Simon. I kinda looks forward to them as much as the actual show. You've got me back into wrestling!

people need to realize, ...you cant have everybody winning all their mtches... in a 50/50 win lose constructed sport like this, youre gonna need people on the losing side so others can be on the winning side..
She did pretty well last night, it was a 2v1 vs Nia Jax & Wardrobe Malfunction. Miss Malfunction has also been seen recently against Tiffany Stratton as well as Anna Jay in AEW, she's all over the place!

Nick Aldis never said that the US Title would be on the line. He only told Cody “I have your next title opponent” he never said the same to Logan.
Literally it could have been Andrade or Bobby Lashley or even someone returning just for the event in Saudi idc if it's Goldberg but LOGAN PAUL should be facing LA Knight for the US Title or even Apollo Crews!
Apollo Crews? He showed up to main roster once, lost, and hasn't been seen since. Unless he's been back down in NXT.

Maybe random, but Many people say randy needs a rookie killer gimmick, i say, why? Legend killer worked cuz he was up and coming star beating aging stars of the past, rookie killer means he either has to beat a lot of up and comers or he has to lose to most of them, which will make him lose his credibility as the "rookie killer" cuz he ain't "killin" nobody
This was kinda of what Chris Hero ended up being in NXT... and honestly, it became very hard to take him seriously as a character because it was either "Oh, he's getting wins over a jobber to look credible" or "Oh, he's going to lose because he's up against the new hotness and there isn't anyway they're going to give him a push like that.".
It could work if there was a stable of younger heels attacking veterans, trying to end their careers, and Randy is the guy that stands against them before they're able to get to him.

Who wins , how they win , and who they win against is what keeps fans from either cheering or Booing for their favorite wrestler - wrestler's in victory or defeat.

@@allencarnes2477 It could be less that he thinks Tama is 'lesser' and more than it's Tama's first match in the WWE. Rightly or wrongly, there's an argument to be made that the new guy going over the veteran in their first match can come across as disrespectful (in real life) and unrealistic (in kayfabe). No where close to being an insider, so all speculation on my part based on what I've heard wrestlers talk about.

The arm someone uses when raising their index finger is purely coincidental. There is no hidden message going on. Sometimes they raised it with the right arm, sometimes it's been with the left. It's just a spur of the moment decision.

It seems like a good idea, not only would it be for the U.S title, which seeing it be possibly won by the American Nightmare is in of itself fitting, but it could also turn Rhodes into a Grand Slam champion. If Logan happens to win though, it'd be kinda lame, but he is supposed to be a big time heel, and a cheater, so that also seems fitting, and it'd create a nice storyline between Rhodes and Logan. In any case, it'd still probably be an above average match at King and Queen of the Ring.

Nia vs Naomi was weird to me. It had some great flashy spots, but... Naomi's gear seems to have failed her, she was really uncomfortable with that strapless thing and had to fix it constantly and that interrupted the flow A LOT, even at the end you can see her covering her chest after Nia stands up.
Really sad because the spots were amazing.
The King and Queen of the Ring winner should get a championship match like at Summerslam. Give it time to brew like how Royal Rumble winner get time to build their feud toward Wrestlemania.
My only gripe this episode was that they jammed a lot of matches together in 2 hours that some didn’t get to tell a good story

You really just ask what logan paul did to deserve a title shot? In terms of kayfabe, he successfully defended his title against two of the best wrestlers in the world at WM. I mean, why did AJ style lose to LA Knight at WM and then get put in the number one contender tournament?
Is pretty clear that Gunther is winning King of the Ring and then taking the World title from Priest in Clash.
Bron Breaker is probably just on standby til Paul Heyman leaves the Bloodline which feels like it'll be soon. Maybe after Summer Slam? Gotta give Bron some time to breathe on main roster since I don't watch NXT...he's still new in my eyes.
I'm pretty sure it's not gonna be a title vs title match so much so bragging rights between 2 champions. And heavens forbid I would rather neither of them have both titles, we already have gotten past that with Roman Reigns when he won both Raw & Smackdown titles we surely shouldn't do it again....at least not yet anyways.
Also while the idea of Cody winning the US title would be pleasing and the fans would be estactic about it, I can't help but wonder if Logan had won his title instead. Twitter/X/ every social media will catch on fire and not in a good way I would imagine. Be a bit too early for Logan to win the big championship even after winning the US title honestly.

Nia Jax v Naomi was arguably the best match of the night. I love Nia's matches due to her unique fighting style, and in this match, Naomi did some stuff that made Nia go outside of her comfort zone. Plus, there was plenty of 1,2, counts.

Simon, admit it. You're going to miss "the colonies" when you go back to the UK. Being able to watch wrestling at a decent hour is only part of it.
I think Logan being the challenger makes sense, mostly because the IWC has been crying about how predictable the Aj match was, so now it’s unpredictable as to who is going to win when both titles are on the line
