In the scene where all the Charlie's are lined up, you can see that this one is the most different cause he doesn't have any slime on him.
You know Charlie's an amazing storyteller when he makes what appears at first to be a simple "100 days challenge" video and it ends up being turned into a FOUR MINUTE LONG, BEAUTIFUL ANIMATION
I love how you had Schlatt's silhouette look like it had devil horns from a distance, and when we finally get closer it's just curls of his hair. That was such a nice touch, along with him slowly getting more and more goat-like with every appearance.
After watching this at least 20 times now I only just realised how at 2:39 when Schlatt's identity is revealed and Charlie realises who he is, the music all beings to slow down which gives this really eerie sense of how Schlatt is controlling everything and then having the music speed back up again when Charlie denys the apple is such a cool subtle way to change the atmosphere! Amazing work on this!
God this was amazing. I loved the callbacks to rest of the SCU and Schlatt just getting progressively more terrifying was spectacular. The character designs were great and I loved how you showed explanations for specific things like the watch and the sun burning Tommy’s zombie side. It’s all great and you should be super proud of it!!
Agreed 100%. The only non-terrifying thing about "Final Form Schlatt" is that _he still has the moustache,_ but even that tiny bit of visual silliness doesn't take away from the threatening energy he gives off.
I'm a person that always focuses on small details in animations, and i've gotta say, this has the BEST small details. The detail of Tommy's eye smoking when the sun arose, the lip syncing being hooked up to the voice, everything is absolutely STUNNING!!
there's also the throne part that shows this playthrough's relation/connection to the old cursed mc video charlie made with grizzly and the others, ohhh boi did that give me goosebumps
I don't know much about any of the actors but I really love Tommy's character concept, the child king of the undead that is struggling with his new existence as patient zero and between his need for connection and his growing infection is a beautiful freaking idea for an antagonist. I specifically remember in the video that Charlie originally assumed he was immune but no, he was just a different kind of zombie which was really cool. the design in this animation captures the vibe perfectly, especially the one zombie eye that is open when he's a zombie and the one human eye.. the bandages.. the clothes... the body language.. he looks wild and scary one second and pitiful the next, love it.
Crying, screaming, throwing up. This was so amazing. God the smoothness of the animations, the character designs. The day night cycle for showing Tommy losing his mind. The watch. Jschlatt turning more and more goat like and his voice as well. The sheer amount of work that went into this is insane. Bravo 👏 👏 👏

When I first saw this, I hadn't watched the original video, and I still loved it. And rewatching it after seeing it the first time? I love this even more! it's so smooth, and it captures the energy of the original video with a more serious tone. And perfectly explains the story in 4 minutes. Great animation my guy, genuinely diabolically underrated.
Schlatt being in presented at first as a typical devil in his silhouette and then being turned into ram (much like his avatar on social media) is a great bit of visual story telling.

Holy shit???? This perfectly encapsulates 2 hours into 4 and a half minutes??? Your art style is utterly stunning and I loved how you drew Tommy with his conflicting zombie and human eyes! The foreshadowing and progression with Schlatt was done so well, especially with the slowing of the music!

I saw this in my recommended and literally turned off everything else and sat alone to watch it so I wouldn’t be distracted, and I was not disappointed. This is incredible and so, so beautiful. I can’t help but see a slight connection to genesis in this with the offering of the apple to the protagonist by a devil tip figure but the good ending this time
I now realize why Schlatt told Slime that "you fucked up". It wasn't because of Slime having eaten the apple, but rather because of his mistake of making Schlatt a god. He essentially made Schlatt someone who wrote the story for his own morbid amusement, being the one who caused Tommy to be the source of the Zombie Apocalypse.
Did anyone else notice that at 2:52 the thrones were THE EXACT SAME THRONES FROM CHARLIE’S “I Survived the Hardest Minecraft Difficulty”? Even down to the colors of the thrones, the beacon in the middle, and bizly being the only one that only gets a chair

I think to the left is just his base skin (which he didn’t have during the natural disaster video where the apple bit came from, but it could just be DSMP). Idk far left. Maybe it’s the VR video where they could adjust their actual heights in-game.

Words genuinely can’t express how good this is. The fluidity of the animation, the timing mixed with the absolutely incredible visuals. It’s stunning. Every time i see animation like this, it blows me away.
This is like, I have no words! It portrays everything to excellently, the character introductions, Tommy's zombie eye smoking in the daylight, his normal eye only being open when he's more human than zombie, schlatt becoming more and more terrifying, all the SCU variants of Charlie, and how he's the one that didn't take the apple, the watch lighting up on day 101, there's so much I could talk about! Amazing work!
What we’re those other versions from? The only other one I recognized was the Olympus version where they created the hardest difficulty, and I’m assuming the other one next to him is basically the standard version, so I’m only confused where the kid and slimey versions are from
Holy SHIT. There is almost too much to take in here, it’s incredible. The fact it’s fully coloured and usually shaded, sound mixing and song timing, the shot composition, those transitions. My god those transitions! And the little character details and expression work is just amazing! Charlie, Schlatt and Tommy are all an absolute joy to look at because of how expressive their faces and body’s are, I’m an especially big fan of Schatt’s gradual transition into more and more of a devil figure and being able to see the two sides of Tommy at play.

@@casual-ark You’re probably right, I doubt he’s outright THE Devil, hence why I said he’s a devil figure. The imagery is definitely devilish-hair making horns, actual goat horns, human form burning away to the goat form, apples as temptation, etc. The whole potential harbinger of doom thing also kind of adds to that, obviously. Even the endlessly toying with Charlie and the others; remember he’s the “other visitor” the mad scientist mentions. He’s in it seemingly for the hell of it, helping where he wants, hindering where it’s fun. Not outright evil sure, but a classic devil-like figure.

Just, the movements, the art, the fact that everything is colored and also sometimes shaded, its incredible! I remembered the original video through this and the fact you managed to make it seem so utterly serious and driven through by story, utterly fantastic! Loved every second of it
This is insane The level of detail is killer. Schlatt getting progressively more goat features every time he shows up, Tommy's zombie eye burning in the sunlight and then later we see him standing deliberately in the shade of the overpass, the way the regular zombies are kinda goofy and cartoony looking but they aren't any less of a threat because of it, the seamless transitions to show the passage of time
All of the posing done for Tommy was awesome, you could really feel both his innocently friendly nature, and his fear of what he is when he's normal, and then his powerful and confident aura that comes from his Zombie form. P.S. Also, does Schlatt give anyone else big Omni Man vibes by his second showing?
I don't necessarily consider myself part of this fandom. I kinda just enjoy stuff for myself. I watched this after watching Charlie's original video and this is perfect. The music, the scenes you chose, the way you animated everyone. The way Schlatt was personified as a whole, the way Charlie glares at him before death. This is one of my favorite videos.

You somehow summed up a two-hour Minecraft survival video (which this animation convinced me to watch) into a four-minute animation, somehow managing to perfectly portray the characters and summarize the story. How??? This- the character design, the sound mixing, the perspective and framing, the colors...this is MASTERY of visual storytelling, and what I aspire to make someday. THIS IS SO GOOD???? Even though I'm not really in the Fandom anymore, i cannot deny that this fandom always has the best fan animations.
I can’t help but see a slight connection to genesis in this with the offering of the apple to the protagonist by a devil tip figure but the good ending this time
I now realize why Schlatt told Slime that "you fucked up".
It wasn't because of Slime having eaten the apple, but rather because of his mistake of making Schlatt a god. He essentially made Schlatt someone who wrote the story for his own morbid amusement, being the one who caused Tommy to be the source of the Zombie Apocalypse.

@@amandastephens5776 It’s not 100% clear to me, but to the right of the 100 Days Charlie are references to the hardest Minecraft difficulty video and maybe when he was a slime origin in Origins SMP? I think to the left is just his base skin (which he didn’t have during the natural disaster video where the apple bit came from, but it could just be DSMP). Idk far left. Maybe it’s the VR video where they could adjust their actual heights in-game.

Words genuinely can’t express how good this is. The fluidity of the animation, the timing mixed with the absolutely incredible visuals. It’s stunning. Every time i see animation like this, it blows me away.
This is like, I have no words! It portrays everything to excellently, the character introductions, Tommy's zombie eye smoking in the daylight, his normal eye only being open when he's more human than zombie, schlatt becoming more and more terrifying, all the SCU variants of Charlie, and how he's the one that didn't take the apple, the watch lighting up on day 101, there's so much I could talk about! Amazing work!
What we’re those other versions from? The only other one I recognized was the Olympus version where they created the hardest difficulty, and I’m assuming the other one next to him is basically the standard version, so I’m only confused where the kid and slimey versions are from

Holy SHIT. There is almost too much to take in here, it’s incredible. The fact it’s fully coloured and usually shaded, sound mixing and song timing, the shot composition, those transitions. My god those transitions! And the little character details and expression work is just amazing! Charlie, Schlatt and Tommy are all an absolute joy to look at because of how expressive their faces and body’s are, I’m an especially big fan of Schatt’s gradual transition into more and more of a devil figure and being able to see the two sides of Tommy at play.

@@casual-ark You’re probably right, I doubt he’s outright THE Devil, hence why I said he’s a devil figure. The imagery is definitely devilish-hair making horns, actual goat horns, human form burning away to the goat form, apples as temptation, etc. The whole potential harbinger of doom thing also kind of adds to that, obviously. Even the endlessly toying with Charlie and the others; remember he’s the “other visitor” the mad scientist mentions. He’s in it seemingly for the hell of it, helping where he wants, hindering where it’s fun. Not outright evil sure, but a classic devil-like figure.
Holy shit, this was awesome. If this doesn't blow up i'm going to file a complaint with the youtube gods, because damn. Just, the movements, the art, the fact that everything is colored and also sometimes shaded, its incredible! I remembered the original video through this and the fact you managed to make it seem so utterly serious and driven through by story, utterly fantastic! Loved every second of it

The level of detail is killer. Schlatt getting progressively more goat features every time he shows up, Tommy's zombie eye burning in the sunlight and then later we see him standing deliberately in the shade of the overpass, the way the regular zombies are kinda goofy and cartoony looking but they aren't any less of a threat because of it, the seamless transitions to show the passage of time
And the way that which one of Tommy's eyes is open shows is he's like more zombie or person
All of the posing done for Tommy was awesome, you could really feel both his innocently friendly nature, and his fear of what he is when he's normal, and then his powerful and confident aura that comes from his Zombie form.
P.S. Also, does Schlatt give anyone else big Omni Man vibes by his second showing?

I don't necessarily consider myself part of this fandom. I kinda just enjoy stuff for myself. I watched this after watching Charlie's original video and this is perfect. The music, the scenes you chose, the way you animated everyone. The way Schlatt was personified as a whole, the way Charlie glares at him before death. This is one of my favorite videos.

@@crazybookenthusiast1378 It's not really hard lore as much as it is Charlie just doing his normal videos, with a common theme. He does improv then ties it together. Basically any minecraft video of his with Jschlatt give little hints and clues and stuff.

I physically *cannot stop* watching this video. You somehow summed up a two-hour Minecraft survival video (which this animation convinced me to watch) into a four-minute animation, somehow managing to perfectly portray the characters and summarize the story. How??? This- the character design, the sound mixing, the perspective and framing, the colors...this is MASTERY of visual storytelling, and what I aspire to make someday.
