Panthers fan here and I agree with you. Shame on ESPN! Those guys could not have shown more bias for the Rangers and against the Panthers. At least TNT tried to be impartial in their broadcasts. I hope they lose the NHL rights in the future, which i know wont happen! I have nothing against the Rangers and they are an awesome team. Igor Shesterkin is a monster! GO CATS and ESPN, go learn how to broadcast games with neutrality again.

Messier refusing to talk about the Panthers after Game 5 on SVP and then literally quitting on the interview entirely is the perfect example of how the ESPN handled this series. Too much bias across the entire broadcast and ended up being sore losers when it became clear the Rangers were outmatched. Shoutout to TNT who can also be bias but can still be professional about it. They know that even if say, Biz, is obviously rooting against your team, that there’s satisfaction in watching him struggle to deal with your team beating his while on air and they’ll lean into it while still providing good analysis for your team. ESPN would rather just act like hockey isn’t on if Rangers don’t win.
I dont know how anyone could say that espn wasnt biased. They had a frickin rangers player in messier on the panel for goodness sake. If youre going to do that at least have an ex panthers player as well. I always miss randy and goldie calling games during the playoffs.

Absolutley will make the ESPN video, probably next week during the fina;s, I have lots of points, might be a more produced video but we will see, and I will def expand on Kaplan and all the horrible personalities 4th.
