I am a white American man that is 170 cm and with the current young adult Asians that I see in the USA the Asians are killing this short height Asian stereotype that many white people have or believe about Asians. Seems like young adult Asian men today are mostly 175 cm or taller and 185 cm or taller, while being a minority of the Asian male population, is far from rare. Young adult Asian women seem mostly 162 cm or taller and young adult Asian women over 170 cm is far from rare today. These young adult Chinese from their northern provinces and these young adult South Koreans look on average taller than a significant majority of white ethnicities today and these young adult Vietnamese look as tall on average today as half if these white ethnicities that I see in the USA. Young adult Vietnamese Americans are easily in the middle in average height when compared to all of these European ethnicities in the USA and noticeably taller than say Italian Americans on average. This short height stereotype about Asians like with the Vietnamese fit mainly their senior citizen aged population and the generations before these senior citizen aged Vietnamese. These older adult Vietnamese came from war and poverty so it is understandable that a significant majority of Vietnamese from their past generations are short on average when compared to Europeans and European Americans. But with Europes past like during the world wars and prior to the 20th century a significant majority of European men were 163 cm or shorter and a significant majority of European women were 150 cm or shorter because like past generations of Vietnamese a significant percentage of Europeans were experiencing war and poverty.
