The first FIFA game I really got into was 07 on the original Xbox, I took Bristol City to domestic and European glory. Anyway, I put the game away for over 10 years until the other day, and started playing a tournament with Liverpool on the default settings, I was blown away with how good the game play was. It was like I'd never been away. The matches are really exciting and the AI is very intelligent.

From what I remember, FIFA 07 was the first to allow you to change the controls, and as I started with PES (4) I was used to X to shoot and B to cross, but was opposite on FIFA default, another reason I could get into it.
I've always started in the lowest league in England, drafted the young talents that would turn out to be stars in the game (like Freddy Adu was back then haha) and played all the way up to Premier League. I loved playing the FA Cup or Community Shield with my two star team vs four or five star teams and win or lose tight on the world class difficulty. Loved the simple controlling of the players and ball yet you could play with sense of strategy too.
You can download the game here: bit.ly/3IhCr2a Start from CD1, copy and paste the key from the text file when the game asks the key. During the installation process game will ask to insert CD2. When you are done don't forget to copy and paste the fifa2005.exe file from the key's folder to the game's main directory by replacing the original one.

Better gameplay than today's fifa
This game made me fall in love with football ⚽️ Pirlo 25, Nesta 28, you never know how good something is when you're living that moment!
In my head, the graphics are million times better 🫣😁 at least in my childhood memory
800x600 resolution can make it fine
I still play it, 20 years later I took out my old Gamecube and I still enjoy playing it as much.

Actually the game's resolution is 1024x768 or something else. FHD is only the resolution of the captured video.
