Pursuit for the perfection continues. I wish we had the opportunity to listen multiple setups in our listening rooms to find the best for our likings. But this is the way it goes. Last time I wanted to buy evo 4.2 now totem. Thanks for the video.
Good afternoon. Now I'm choosing between these two speakers myself). It is important to me how they behave at low volume, who is better, more detailed, cleaner?
@@ВадимАртемов-н9в Considered the new Totem Bison but after looking at the frequency curve and that many state the brightness along with Totem known for needing alot of power, I am hesitant. They also put their crossover together differently from what others have stated. Machine twisted rather than solder. Lots of people swear by them but don't know. Also looked at Dali Rubicon 2 as I am using an Opticon 1 and with a sub, probably gets me the bass the Rubicon would without being too overbearing. Rubicon will be more resolving but for now, still looking at options and enjoying what I have.
What do you mean when you say the new model jet 6 is more analytical? I'm trying to decide between the solano bs283 and bs283.2, unfortunately I didn't have the chance to listen to the new model with the jet 6 but I listened to the old jet 5 model and I really liked the warm sound and the kicking mid-range, should I expect something completely different in the new model?
Unfortunately I didn’t listen to any Solano yet. The first Vela sounds a little bit warmer than the new one. On the other hand the new one is a little bit more revealing than the old one which makes sense. In the end it is up to your taste
@@DigitalPhilosophers What amplifier did you try the vela 403.2 with? Are you talking about small differences between them or is it really that noticeable? Did you experienced any kind of listening fatigue with the new model? (The most important, for me) Have you experienced excessive brightness? Did you felt that the bass was softened a bit? or the midrange was flatter? forgive me for the avalanche of questions (:
Tonally the Sugden is unmatched in my experience. The Unico Primo is a great great sounding amp that comes the closest to the Sugden (at half the price, 4k vs. 2k). Unfortunately I sold the Sugden back when I wanted an amp with a good DAC implementation. Now that is not my priority any more. Back to the sound. Albeit looks still matter to me tbh.
Within my two years with the Vela 403 I listened to it powered by 12 different amps: I tried the Arcam SA20, the Elac DS-A101, the Vincent SV500, Unison Research Unico Primo (🤩), Audiolab Omnia, 6000A, Arcam Solo Misic MKII, Marantz PM7000N, Sonoro Maestro, NAD C356 BEE, Rotel A14 and the Heed Elixir.
@@themastroiannisUnico Primo, Heed Elixir, Azur 851A. Honorable mentions to the 6000A, the Omnia, PM7000N, SA20, Solo Music MKII and the SV500. The only two I can not recommend are the Elac DS-A101 and the Sonoro Maestro. Both with a great app but poor sound performance (➡️with the Vela, with my music, in my room, in my opinion) I heard that the Maestro sounds amazing with Sonoro speakers but I didn’t have one to hand
@@DigitalPhilosophers It does. A summary would have been nice, and the video split into chapters, with your conclusion in the end, so easy to skip to for busy (ie lazy) people 😉😂
@@NiToNi2002 Thanks for your feedback. You’re right. That would improve my “professionalism”. Usually I write my conclusions and pin it as the main comment 😊 Beeing lazy myself 😄

That’s a hard question. Please try both and return or sell the one you don’t prefer
I keep the Sky for any volume
Is it possible to listen to them (Sky) just like Vela and for a long time and not get tired?
Yes with toe out and the amp choice
That is, difficulties may arise and the sky looks very bright, at first I really like it, but I quickly get tired and I don't want to listen(
@@ВадимАртемов-н9в Do you have them at home? The Sky is not a bright sounding speaker

@@MolldD The difference is very very subtle. There is a bigger difference between a broken in speaker and a new pair of speakers.
I see the Sugden has disappeared. Is the Unison your new favourite?

If you had to choose Sky or Vela...one of them for a long time, which would you choose?
That’s exactly the choice. The Sky.

TLDR?
Is this a question?
TLDR means ”too long didn’t read”, doesn’t it?
