Absolutely. It works in the same way. When you create new posts with the Twenty Twelve theme, you will have an option on the post's page to the the right underneath "Categories" and "Tags" where it says "Featured Image". Just click "set featured image" and you'll be able to add or select an image. Thanks for the compliment!
So I've watched many youtube wordpress tutorials, and even the Lynda wordpress tutorial, and I must say that yours is certainly the most user friendly one available.

The information found in this video is so complete. In fact, you can survive the business with just this tutorial to guide you, unless if Google changes the way it runs things again. The thing that made this more beautiful is that tips and suggestions come in handy. People should realize that it is also good to cut cost here.

That is by far the best tutorial on WordPress I've seen. Although it was lengthy, everything was informative. Far too many tutorials on UA-cam feature people who get sidetracked and waffle on endlessly about irrelevant crap. This was totally focused and understandable. Well done! (P.S. Nice to see someone else makes the odd stuff-up in real life too!)
I wanted to make my own website after years of being dissatisfied with what others had built for me. I have a commercial art background, but haven't used it in years. I needed to know the step by step of how to do it and wpSculptor did a very complete job of it! Thanks, I love it and I think my mind has melted form info overload! To get comments off of your pages, go to the page editor for the specific page you want to turn comments off for and then at the top right corner, click on "Screen Options" and make sure "Discussion" is checked. Then scroll down and un-check "allow comments".

I do have a question...is there any other way to add a file upload feature so. .in my case...models can upload/submit image... without buying a plugin?
You're welcome! It could be your server or possibly even your browser but with my experience, it has worked extremely well. Make sure you have your admin email set up right by going to "Settings", "General" and next to "email address", make sure your email is correct.
This is a great tutorial for building web sites through WordPress for people who have no previous web design experience. For more experienced web designers using WordPress for the first time there is still really good information, but you will most likely want to skip ahead during some parts of the video.

I did it! Regarding my last post, it turned out that my picture was just too large. I know that you had mentioned this in the video, but I figured (incorrectly, of course) that it was sized properly because I use it straight from a camera that I have already resized the shots on. At any rate, your tutorial has been the best! I am so happy with what I have accomplished and my site looks pretty nice. I hope WP realizes what a gift you are to them! Peace...and thank you, again.

Hey Shane, I'm glad the video is helpful. When you add the image and insert it into the page, make sure you have align: left or align: right checked. You should be able to click on your image within the visual editor and click on the image icon and then align it from there. Hope that helps!

Thanks Nicole! You can specify the blog page by going to "settings", "reading" and set "font page displays:" to "Static page" and then specify the page you want for your front page and then specify that you want your blog page to be your "posts page"
