Really all I want is an XP system that rewards me for playing the video game you guys worked so hard on. I'm not quite sure why the decision was made to tie XP only to challenges, but frankly, we don't like it. It makes the amazing gameplay feel unrewarding
I heard its partly because since they dont have a prestige system, they dont want players leveling too fast. However, once a prestige system is made i feel we should DEFINITELY get xp for heists along with more per bag secured as well to bring back the much needed incentive to secure as many bags as possible
Yeah, when I have to hard focus challenges for 20 hours from 50 to 80 on the most efficient method possible, it's not fun. Reward me playing the came casually, I shouldn't have to have a part time job of completing challenges to progress.
If anyone is reading still: would love to see Melee weapons in the traditional FPS style: takes a weapon slot, stays drawn, can be customized and modded like the guns. Sucked that payday 2 had so many neat weapons relegated to, essentially, a panic button.
We need a pregame chat desperately. So shit going into a heist with half a team setup for stealth, other half for loud with no way to comm; and once stealth breaks half the team quitting if team doesn’t restart.
Love your game guys but don’t kill it with the terrible launch and lack of oversight on things so simple as that! I wanna see this game last another ten years, not die in a month.
Again (10:00) just cause a feature was added in post launch for your first game doesn’t mean it’s expected to be added post launch in the sequel. The bar for Payday 3 is the END of Payday 2… if not higher! I myself don’t care about VR Payday, but the point still stands. The game has been worked on by 150+ people for nearly a decade. No reason to launch with so little features compared to the previous game, it’s supposed to be an upgrade! We all just want a good game, and the groundwork is laid out well. Just make the tweaks and stop cutting corners.
why not set a looping challenge that just results in xp for "using pistols" "going loud" "going stealth" etc. etc. on top of the other infamy rewards... that make it more like achievements without locking out players not interested in certain gameplay styles

Please don’t ruin payday 3 and add a battle pass… then exclusive things would be in the pass and we would have to pay… payday as a serious, have us the option to have everything we want in game. No out of game transactions with real life money. A battle pass I bet would turn a lot of people off from the game. If it’s paid at least.
I don't think the xp system that stupid. Like, we learn to play while using a lot a weapon, we level up it and get xp. These objectives gives us something to focus instead of just rush a bunch of heist and finish the game in a week. Melee is good too, maybe we'll get some "skin" but I don't know how changing the melee will help. Some wants to add modifications on it, but what they will do ? More "silence", damage, effects ? Maybe stunning melee will be useful but I don't think katana or huge items like we had in PD2 will have their place here. PAYDAY 3 is more realistic/movie play than the 2, let's have fun and see what we'll get in the following updates !
I leveled up more in 5 hours than my friend did in 30 hours since I just farmed weapon kills in the bathroom. When your gameplay widely varies from your progression systems, something is not right. You could say that I’m rushing the game, but I don’t want to spend the next 50 hours with half perks since I didn’t want to engage with their progression system as it requests.
The xp achievement system forces you to use different builds/plan. Assume you got m14. You wanted to use m14 so badly that you will use it without changing to another weapon for a while. Then when your heist is completed, it says you haven't got any exps/weapon xp because you didn't complete the "achievements". What will you do?
@@Hysteriatic what I did was farm out 1000 kills with each weapon over the span of 10 hours in a bathroom so the game would never tell me what to use again. I’m level 90 now and really happy I don’t have to touch the SMGs again

I kinda missed the bulldozer's intimidation look now he looks like a regular swat member and lost his unique look. also very upset that there's no map to join random people's game or join a random game already like that feature couldn't of been that hard to translate from payday 2 to 3 why wasn't that in the launch? also this main menu I SEE SO DAMN MUCH BECAUSE GETTING IN A GAME IS HARD, is quite boring I mean Payday 2 had an amazing menu especially the background now its so boring and basic, I hope in the updates they change the menu so its actually making my guy look like the badass heister he is and also please PLEASEEEEE add custom heisters, like try making face presets thats fine but I want to be able to change the face, the hair, facial hair, body shape, height, and like voice acting. I had high hopes for payday 3 to do something new but instead it feels like payday 3 is just payday 2 with new maps but some skills are no longer skills i have to unlock to get and i get them already which is good because why make it a skill point to be able to pick up stuff in casing mode? also i hope they add more loud equipment into the game because this equipment to place down jammers and stuff aren't exactly loud use there shouldve been like traps or shield placements for cover. I had really high hopes and still do I hope people still buy this game and play the shit out of it but really do need something
The lead guard is the worst addition to steath not because of the repeating paiger but because there pathing changes randomly during the heist I love steath and especialy solo steath but i have not been able to clear a single solo overkill steath mission you HAVE to play with at least 2 people and one just watches the lead guard its not fun and makes the game very hard while playing solo
