Very underrated song. Nice version too. Should have way more views. Love seeing the older people in the crowd as they sing along and reflect on their lives. ❤️
Ian Mcnabb and The Icicle Works are somewhat of a revelation to me. I always believed their tracks where by Julian Cope and Teardrop Explodes. Ian’s beautiful soulful voice has barely changed since the 1980s. Incredible musician and lovely chap.
First heard all these great songs in Germany when i was in the Army, Hollow Horse was one of my favourites. Pack in Smoking Ian so you can play more years.

Ian has a natural wall of sound vocal as evocative as Scott Walker and enduring songs from the heart, certainly made his mark with Icicle Works and it’s distinct musicality.

Between these cd's was one of your cd's that blown me away - with song Hollow Horses included. After i heard it i had wish to know everything about your music. I listen it all these years.👍👍
