Hello from another fellow blush lover! I ordered 4 more Koki blushes yesterday. It was a better deal to shop the sale on their website. 4 blushes and an eyebrow pencil with free shipping for only 30 dollars! I found out about them from Risa another beauty content creator and was instantly obsessed after trying the color Starcrossed. Lancome's Pink Pool blush is one of my can't live without products. I'm a 60 year old lifetime beauty lover and have been using it for decades. It has the perfect amount of shimmer and brightens my fair to light complexion. Tresor by Lancome is a gorgeous peach shade that looks especially wonderful when I self tan or want a bronzey look. I enjoy your videos, honest reviews and enthusiasm for beauty products.
This video is inspiring me 2 ask this question - could U do a video on blushes, lip products & eyeshadow palettes that can work YEAR ROUND?? I would LOVE 2 build up a collection of those colors. Also, I would LOVE 2 know your recommendations on a liquid/cream blush 4 somebody that has NEVER used anything except a powder formula. Also, talk about all blush formulas that can easily lay down on top of any foundation formula used. I'm on the search 4 good blushes that can flatter VERY pale skintones & can be easily applied on top of any foundation formula I choose.
I love the new Juvia’s place liquid blush. I got the shade blush Lilly and it is a perfect shade when you are wearing purple. I also love the believe beauty blush in the shade doll face for a pink look and tropical sunset for a peach coral blush.
I love the Bobbi Brown Fresh Melon. I've also been using Rose Inc Heliotrope and Mac So Natural. Cream blushers are much more forgiving on older skin and have such longevity. Those three look just as good at the end of the day as they do at the beginning with no touch ups needed.
Agree, most anything I use on my face are cream-based. And for me, less is more.

The criticism, especially when it's over something she can't change (and I've been with Allie for many years and she sounds the same as she always has) followed by the Unsubscribing Declaration--I just don't get. What's your aim here? You want her to apologize for the sound of her voice? And if she could somehow rid herself of what you refer to as her "vocal fry," for you, dear fellow subscriber, then--and only then--could she keep YOU tuning in? It is implicit in your statement above. Additionally, contributing to said "vocal fry," you site her "generation." If she can't help the sound of her voice, surely she cannot change the date she entered into this world and became a defacto member of the Vocal Fry Generation. If her voice irritates you, then by all means, unsubscribe. There are millions of other content creators out there. Go.
It is the manner of which you've chosen to announce your exodus from the channel that really gets under my skin, and it is why I made the decision today to get involved instead of just shaking my head and scrolling on by, per usual. Perhaps you didn't consider how your comment contributes to the legion of voices out there who tear down, rather than uplift. For many who do this kind of thing, it seems that for this particular brand of criticism, cruelty is the point.
Of course, I don't know you. I have no way to know what is in your heart and if you may be representative of this behavior, nor can I know whether you have malicious intent. Maybe it was just a one-off and you wouldn't normally subscribe to this mean girl behavior. If I've misunderstood, I sincerely apologize. You likely find this call-out hurtful and embarrassing.
I don't normally call people out on the internet (or hijack a comment thread--I'm sorry for those of you tagged in this thread who didn't want anything more than contribute to a conversation about beautiful blushes), but you really hit a nerve. I've seen this behavior over and over in various comment threads all across beauty UA-cam, and I just don't understand...but I want to.
If you want to leave, why be mean about it? Go quietly into that good night. If it's not nice--or even constructive--why say it at all?
Further, the condescension in your words conflating Allie's so-called "vocal fry" as a attribute of her "generation" implies that (1) you must be at least one generation removed, likely more, from Allie. And (2) now you have insulted not just her but anyone else who happens to be a part of her generation. That's a lot of people who watch Allie's videos and read or participate in the comments. As someone born in the mid-70s, it isn't *my* generation, but as I know and love many a millennial, Ib felt slighted here too. There is a ripple effect and despite lessons about "sticks and stones," I know that words can and do hurt. So it begs the follow-up question: with all of your life experience, have you still not learned the lesson about keeping silent if you have nothing nice to say?
**And yes, the irony is not lost on me that despite my best efforts to frame my questions and commentary in the kindest way possible, it could be argued that I should have kept my mouth shut and not opened this potential can of worms. Truly, I'm not trying to start an argument or a flame-war, but I find myself so disheartened with comments like this one, that I just have to ask about the motivation and/or results this subscriber wanted to achieve with her words. (Un)fortunately, today was the day I just could hold my tongue. I get that in the grande scheme of things, is this kind of thing worth get so worked up over? No. But it is an example of where our current culture of cruelty takes root.
Snide comments become progressively more hurtful. Then it becomes bullying. And if left unchecked, the meanness can continue to grow exponentially. We see it daily in the States where today's hateful comments and online rants become tomorrow's mass shooting. We owe it to ourselves and future generations to be a better role models. It is important to call out mean behaviour and do our best to deescalate hostility when and where we can to turn the temperature down in an ever-escalating Culture of Cruelty in this world.
The insult about Allie's voice and flippant dismissal of an entire generation is small potatoes on the world stage, but it's where, especially in the internet's fertile soil, entitlement and hostility take root. It is my hope that folks would think through their actions to consider all of the consequences--direct or indirect--and chose to land on the side of good. There's enough mean--so let's fill comment threads with positivity and uplift and encourage others, not harm or tear them down. ❤️❤️❤️

Blush is one of my fave parts of makeup too! Def obsessed with the new too faced blushes too! I mixed watermelon rain and golden hour today as an ombré look and it was stunning and made my cheeks look so healthy and glowy! ❤
Love this! I own maybe…uhhh…100 different blushes in all formulas but my favorites are for the cream: danessa myricks yummy skin in rose and brunch (it’s potent friends so a little goes a long way!) and the nudestix nude buff and for the powders- the new physicians formula butter glow in natural glow is amazing as a bronzer/blush all over quick powder that’s affordable and great formula! I’ve been using it when I’ve done prom makeup since it’s sheer and buildable! Love you and your show- hope you and the family are doing great! ❤

Love this video - so fun! I have been loving the Melt cream blushlights. Like you, I’m obsessed with blush and have tried about every formula on the market. I bought the melt cream blushlights about 3 months ago and have not put them down yet. They blend like a dream and the shades are so gorgeous. They make the skin slightly glow but in more of a flawless way. My fav colors are honey thief and pink sand. I can’t believe more people aren’t talking about these!

I love Laura Geller's Pink Buttercream--the perfect classic pink! Another favorite is Milani's balm formula--can't remember the exact name of it---in--Blushing Coral. It's a lovely bright pink with a hint of coral, so good if you don't like orangey corals.

Allie ,my favorite blush is one I've been wearing for a while now. It is the Catrice "Oil-Infused" Blush. It only comes in one color (a peachy-pink) an it has just the slightest shimmer....not glittery! It's a powder & I wear it alone or on top of a pinky tone cream blush for that ombre effect. It's affordable at $11 & it's my go-to!

My fav right now are literally all of the AF94 cheek and lip multi sticks! I feel like I never see anyone talking about AF94 for some reason but love the blushes ❤
The Blush I'm using is the L'Oréal Melon Dollar Baby Blush, I really quite like Blush. It's got a little shine to it and you can build it up. Funny enough I never see any beauty UA-camrs use this Blush 🤷🏻♀️

The pot rouge in pale pink was the first high end blush I owned as a teen. The sales lady matched it to me so I’ve always looked back and thought fondly of that color. It’s been a long time since I’ve used it but I guess I should pick it up again!

Hey Ali! Blush challenged gal here. I have great colors, and no matter what prep I do, my skin soaks it up. I've even done cream blush followed by powder blush.

I have the BB blush in pale pink as a powder (not in the pot) and a very similar melon-colored blush by Laura Mercier (as well as Flower Beauty's liquid blush in melon). You've totally inspired me to give that color combo a try using what I have. While not in my possession (YET!), I have been *craving* the deliciousness that is the Haus Labs blush in "pomelo peach." I'm not usually a peachy blush gal, but there's just something about that shade that makes me swoon. 🥰 I can't wait to get it on my cheeks....and across my nose, and my forehead....perhaps a little on my chin, and of course, I'd have to work a little into my eye look. 😉 You know, for tying it all together. ☺️
