Sad I won’t be seeing Caroline Bowman again for Frozen’s closing week in San Jose but excited to be getting the amazing Alyssa Fox. Tissues are on hand for closing night.
I just realized almost every Elsa in Frozen was an Elphaba Idina Menzel (OG Elphaba) (Elsa Voice) Cassie Levy, Alyssa Fox, Caroline Bowman, Jenna Rix were Elphaba at some point hoping to see Ciara Renee and Sam Barks as Elphaba
Jemma* She was Elphaba at Universal Japan and then for over 2000 shows across Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and back to Aus. Jemma and Caroline my 2 fav Elsa’s (I’ve seen 6 different Elsa’s live)
You're right. Elsa and Elphaba have similar themes in their stories. I also would love to see/hear Willejmin Ver kikh ( spelling?), the german/Dutch elphaba play elsa.
Big news in Aus, Jemma just reprised the role of Elphaba last night as Special Guest. When it was announced hrs before the show, the ticket website crashed from people trying to buy the last seats. Jemma was of course superb (I have a recording) like she never left.
@@remitheninjacat Lol thanks. It's a shame that Ciara and her cast didn't come back for the tour or anything. I would have loved to seen them. From what I've seen so far, I really liked that cast.

Alyssa Fox is no doubt a talented artist but I feel she doesn’t quite fit the role. Her voice doesn’t match the Elsa vibes for me. However with sudden news of Caroline’s early departure from the tour, Alyssa Fox’s fame and past experiences/shows makes her a great substitute for sad fans who expected Caroline Bowman.
the best news to come after i was sad to hear that caroline won't be my elsa in san jose is alyssa fox elsa! my mom & i just saw alyssa's elphaba this past february!!
Hi, I think she has an awkwardness, especially in the beginning. At first, she seemed to have a bit of a local kid doing a REALLY BIG SHOW vibe. The blonde wig and dark eyebrow contrast don't help. Also, her lower register didn't seem on point at the start of the song. She definitely seemed more at home as Elphaba, I thought she was exceptional in that. However, by the end of this song, she won me over. Although she seemed tentative at first, she won me over by the end. I thought she was amazing. I saw a video of Ciara Renée the Elsa replacement she had pitch issues in one but not the other. Judging from Ms. Fox's other videos I think she's also vocally consistent.
I love Alyssa! She’s one of a kind, and my favorite Elsa in the musical
I saw Alyssa on for Caissie.... WOW!!! Her voice is incredible.
She makes it sound SO easy
3:17 i love how she got into the character here with those hand gestures.
Alyssa Fox’s Elphaba in Wicked is also incredible for those who haven’t heard her rendition!
For sure!
It seems to be a trend that if you’ve played Elphaba, you’ll play Elsa

I’ll be there closing night too!! The 1st at 6:30!

Love Alyssa Fox! She is an incredible talent!!!
Just saw her in the Frozen North American Tour she was incredible!
her smile was so cute when she was taking off the glove *.*

Love Alyssa! Wish I could see her if she goes on tour. ❤️

Just saw her! Shes amazing!!
Lei è bravissima!
I have to say, I just saw the National Tour Frozen in Hartford yesterday, the Elsa we saw was even better!

Frozen The Musical Original Broadway Cast
Alyssa was the standby btw! The understudy at this time was either Charissa or Ashley!
Caissie Levy is the original Elsa.
I LOVE ELSA WHO AGREES AND I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT I LOVE ANNA TOO
They’re both amazing!
3:00
But she was perfect
The Caissie Levy performance is the best among the frozen musical braoadway
Strongly disagree, Ciara Renee is amazing. I don't particularly like Cassie's voice, too nasally.

SHES COMING TO MASSACHUSETTS AS ELSA
She's amazing, the acting and the voice are surreal, but she doesn't match the character Elsa in many ways, but she is incredible anyway.
Is this the final show on broadway ?
No, this is not the final show.
@@zacharystravels621 thank you
Yeah
I think I prefer her as Elphaba.
please post chad "in summer" :)
Broadway Fan I do not have that video, sorry!
She also looks like Samantha Barks a little bit up close.

@@thelaurenwatt Yeah Alyssa Fox is a great replacement for Caroline Bowman, who left for her newest adventure on Broadway with Sunset Boulevard.
Yea good but she didn’t fly the stick in her hair
So sounds like Ciara Renee
Her voice YES! Her way of defying gravity NOT REALLY! Im sorry but her face expression and body language was not outstanding.
I don't know why. But I feel cringey about her while she is performing.
No hate lol Hahahaja
