It blows me away how much substance the show had back in the day. Not just the powerhouses like Darlene and Susan, but even the plot lines about What mattered to people and the dialogue breakdowns were amazing and so much easier to get absorbed in. Thank you so much for uploading!
@@babydollssoapsnthingz8225 Right? It's like the writers are stuck in this odd pattern of what they think we want to see, or something. I love how Sally was a soft villain but you could see her obsession with the Forresters and hear her side of things and it gave her actions context. Just as a random example. I love being surprised by what characters say in conversations on soaps, and Bold and the Beautiful was one of the soaps that REALLY did that for me - the clip you uploaded is a really good example of that.
Darlene proved she was a pretty good actress beyond just a comedic force whenever she was given serious moments. The more of these old clips I come across the more I realise that.
