I have a vr50 and everytime i reel it in it there is clicking sounds from like the inside of the reel, it started from 1 click every rotation and now its like 2-3 and gotten kinda louder. Even tho it feels so smoothly. Would you have an idea of what it is or how to fix it
Hi I’m having an issue with vr being so hard to crank after I have cast a lure. Next, whole you trying to pull the fish, the anti reverse is reverse the handle by itself. What do I do to fix this issue?

I do my own service on the reels. If I need a gasket, I order it from Van Staal.

Do you notice there is some play in the anti-reverse? I just bought a VR 175 and I noticed some play in it
If it occurs frequently and considering its still new, I would probably bring it back.

Not sure I understand what you are trying to describe. Have you tried to take off the cover and take a look inside?

My VS squeaks a lil and it annoys me how do I fix this? I’ve only had it for like a year but used it for about 4 months
Not sure how to fix that. If I were having the problem, I would probably breakdown the reel, clean and lubricate the main pinion.
I have been looking on how to make my brand new Van Staal VR to work.. It's not. Shitty line lay, shitty drag, trash fishing.
