Wild Waves Theme Park - A Walk Down Memory Lane

Wild Waves replaced the Dry Slide with another slide thats called the Downhill Tubin', but all thats left of the Falling Star is a vast patch of cement. The good thing about Wild Waves Theme Park is that they've replaced every ride they took out with a new one, except for the Falling Star. This year Wild Waves announced it's removal of The Pythons and the Speed Slides. It's slated to be the spot for 9 future tube slides, 3 expected to open Summer 2015. In case you're new to Wild Waves, here's it's history: Wild Waves (Formerly Enchanted Village) opened in 1977 on only 12 acres. In 1984, the Wild Waves Waterpark section opened. Then in 2000 the park was sold to Six Flags Management. In 2002-2003 Wild Waves Water & Theme Park entered it's golden years. Various rides were added, including the Timberhawk, the Northwest's largest wooden rollercoaster, a whole new section of the park, and many other rides. In 2007 Six Flags sold the Park to Parc Management. Wild Waves Theme Park continues to add rides and make goWILD memories. Thank you for watching, & Please SUBSCRIBE!
