Always start bleach at the back, and wait until is about half as light as you want the rest of your hair.

I love love this color on you. I've done hair for 27 years and I think it's so rude when people negatively comment because they happen to have a Cosmetology license. You did a great job and I hope you've attempted or will attempt to go back blonde at some point. It just looks fabulous on your skin tone and your eyes really stand out. I'd say only one suggestion and just because of the yellow places you had left. If it does that again just go back in and high lift color those areas instead of rebleaching. You obviously have to bleach to lift as high as you can with your natural dark hair but once it's to the gold phase you can use high lift color with probably just 20 vol maybe 30 but I believe 20 would do. Try wella color charm 12a frosty blonde. Then....time with 10 vol wella t18.

I think she looks beautiful as a blonde, too! In the end, it turned out well. She can take your professional advice and hopefully have less damage. She did a pretty darn good job of lightening that many levels! People think they can say what they want hiding behind a keyboard! Either way, words still hurt!

The reason the front was processing faster than the back is because the back of your hair is thicker and takes longer to process, while the front is more fine and delicate and processes a lot faster. 😊😊😊

And the hair on the nape is also not in the skin. Or have so many chemicals, like hairspray. Also the shampoo and conditioner usually isn't rinsed out as completely. I think they did great, my first bleach in beauty school was soooooo bad.
Your roots are more processed because of the heat from your head. Should have added bleach from ends, mid shaft, and then roots last.
How I figured out to to do the back 1st. Cause my back was still pretty dark as well! Ugh the Joy's of (saving money,) & bleaching ourselves lol

I cringed all through the whole video. Bleaching is such a hard job, even for a professional. Especially on Asian hair, so dark. I think with a stronger lightner like the Schwarzkopf Blondeme, probably she wouldn't had to do a double process. So many brave ones using bleach on UA-cam ✌

My dark roots have grown like 4 inches long so I've been wanting to bleach my own roots too but I'm scared that my hair will break off where the bleach meets the already blonde hair that i have even if im careful. Specially because the top part of my hair is pretty porous from previous bleaching. What was that like for you?

Just wanted to let you know in case you do decide to go light again...You have to use a stronger developer next time with your toner so that it will lift the brassy or yellow tones...a 10 volume developer only deposits color it doesn’t lift the color very much...also with this particular toner your hair has to be more than just a little damp
If you're having to use a developer stronger than 10 for toner than the toner is too light for your hair period.

Yikes! Idk why people keep using coconut oil? 🤦🏻♂️ it actually create a film over the hair and inhibit lightener from lifting evenly. Same goes for coloring.

In your Revlon stuff you brought, there would have been a bottle in there you could have used for the toner.
You said your hair was already damaged. You could have used purple shampoo and conditioner to tone instead of the toner
I had to skip the application process that her sister did. 🤦🏻♀️ I was screaming in my head I just wanted to grab the tint brush out of her hand! 😂💙 turned out decent though, congrats!
Start from back to front because the hair in the top is usually more damaged from styling and such

Girl the cream lightener is the best on the market I love it it raised my green bad bleach job I somehow managed to do and will never understand how my hair got that way. I am never going back to powder bleach ever again.
Krissy Medlin Have you ever used henna dye in the past? That might be why. A band of my hair near the ends had turned green too when I went to the salon to get it lightened. The guy was surprised and asked if I’ve used henna hair dye in the past (long time ago). I didn’t know henna reacts with bleach and turns green. Finally it’s level 10 now I gotta try that cream lightener too for my root area

Tbh the T18 turned out to look more of a pastel pink vivid color but vivid colors font look good on anyone and everyone and it fits ur skin tone. I finish vivid colors looked that cool on me but they don't. I have to be either ark brown or burgundy/red auburn. Those look really good on me.

Coconut oil will keep colour from lifting.. Better to use it as a mask a few days before and then after... It also keeps toner and tints from being even!

What volume developer did you use for the second round of bleach? The one you mixed with ion bright white cream bleach

I don't understand why every brunette --> blonde video on youtube has a lot of comments complaining about the color in some way. It's funny because the comments complain regardless of whether a professional did it on or someone did it at home haha
I think it looked good. I'm naturally a brunette but currently orange because of the bleach (which I expected). In a few days I'll bleach it again, and I hope it lookd anywhere near as good as yours.
Oh the orange!! I know that phase well. If you do a blue-based mask (or.make.one yourself with soke.bkue food colouring, conditioner, and vinegar), that can really take the edge off in the meantime, giving you a nice light golden brown (if you leave it on long enough). I mean, just if you plan to leave the house haha..best of luck !

For a temporary mask probably the best thing to do is grab some temporary dye (like artic fox or manic panic) and just mix a little blob of it into a big bowl of white conditioner (say the size of your mixing bowl you'd use to mix up dye). Less is more with this stuff, but it's more predictable than food colouring or what have you (I wrote that comment many months ago, sorry! Have had new experiences since!). Anyways less is.more cause this stuff is really.potent - basically whatever colour you.mix up.is what is going to show up on your hair. A mix of violet and blue would be good. If you have any yellow parts, straight up blue will turn them green. So just a little bit of dye and the see how it goes - you can always add more later if it wasn't pigmented enough to give you the right tone. Pink works really well on orange too, and can give you a nice rosegold. Anyway, good luck!!

Please never “tone” hair with box dye. Box dye is not toner. They are extremely different products.
Maybe she just wanted to dye it that color? Some people say toners dont last long on them.

Just a tip adding oil to your hair before bleaching will not help the bleach will just eat up the oil
you can use bleachwash this will be help you to corret all the aneven spots and i use for this an platinum box bleach from drugstore and i mix it in an bowl and them i put some shampoo and conditioner and den i put an plastik bag for 10-15min and after that i let ir sitt for 20 more min and thrm wash it out and use a silvershampoo and let it sit for 5min and them i use a conditioner to smooth my hair a bit
