💌 update letter:
finally, a new video friends!! i thank yall deeply for the support, patience and understanding throughout this unintentional break of mine.
i've been meaning to post for a really long time, but then my new rotation happened (ಥ _ ಥ)
to say i've been exhausted and flabbergasted is an understatement. this is the toughest rotation of sixth year: internal medicine. we act as next year's interns, except with no experience and zero pay :'D combining that with a really challenging tutor to build a relationship with (she makes everyone's lives 10x harder for no reason), it's been a difficult time. i've been really having to take it day by day. some nights are also full of anxiety, and i keep thinking about the infirmary still.
my days have been fuller, with little time and mental energy to study after 'work'. still, i've been making constant efforts, and this video is a result of those! i have online class about 3x per week for the board exam. they have been helping me a lot staying consistent this rotation, since i try to tune in to them in real-time.
now... december is almost halfway through and internal medicine rotation is coming to an end in two weeks!! hahaha what is time. what is life? i have a presentation coming up this thursday, and then a final report to discuss with my (really weird) tutor.
it hasn't been all bad though!! getting to be in Lisbon at this time of the year again it's just such a blessing, i love love love the city slowly showing its winter colours. i've learnt SO much in just 6 weeks. i've taken breaks and full days just for myself. i've been reading incredible books, and surrounding myself in beautiful nature. i've started running consistently a couple times per week (for a month now!). i see these all as huge personal accomplishments! more on that on future videos. for now..

p.s. in this video, u can catch me in one of the breaks conversing with my cat.. forgot to lower the volume there shshs and i'm not gonna go through the whole process of exporting this again because of that, so just think of it as part of the ambient and of the many weird noises of my suburbian apartment..... /ᐠ｡ꞈ｡ᐟ\
✧･ﾟ how it works: ✧･ﾟ
there are four study sessions, 50 mins each, with three 10 min breaks included.
focus as best as you can during your study session because we'll be resting in just a bit. it will get easier the more you do it, as your brain can be trained to focus for longer periods of time as you study consistently, so don't give up! you can do this :-)
additionally, because this is a no music SWM, if you feel like it, you can always add your own playlists in the background or lofi streams, for example.
✧･ﾟ at the beginning of the study sessions, make sure to:
- turn off anything you're not going to be using to study
- have your materials ready to go
- have drinks/food ready so you don't have to get up to go get necessities
- have a clear idea of what you want to accomplish during the session (i.e., choose a task from your to-do list)
✧･ﾟ during the breaks:
- stop working as soon as the timer hits, even if you're mid-sentence
- make sure to get up, do some simple stretches
- refill anything that needs to get refilled
- talk to friends/update family
✧･ﾟ at the end of this video:

studied 8 hours saturday, then 8 hours sunday! i got lots of review and practice for my midterm on monday :)))) its on discrete maths oof wish me luck bro this video is my favorite because i love the choice of music during breaks and i love the sound of pens clicking and papers wrinkling hehe

Thank you so so much for this study with me❤🙏🙏 . My weakest subject is math and I used to get average marks . But studying using this video improved me so much that I got the highest in math in my class and I'm not joking.
