I love your recognition of the unmatched quality of the scarves. They were my gateway into the world of Hermes. Whenever I wear one, people comment how lovely it is and how luxurious the silk looks. They truly are works of art.
Hermès silk scarves are truly works of art. I adore Ugo Gattoni’s creations. So much attention to detail. I’d be able to stare at one of his scarves for 15 minutes and still discover new and fun details. Thank you for acknowledging Hermès silk pieces with this video.
Many years ago Hermès brought an exhibition to Kuwait and that was when my love affair with Hermès silk began... I could not afford them in those days... but I have a large collection of them now... I saw them doing the silk screening process right in front of my eyes... a most magical sight. 🌟
I have several cashmere scarves that are fantastic... as well as many silk cashmere blended ones... plus those longer large ex libre ones and they are perfection for the winter!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This has been one of my favie videos on luxury-- I love the insight you provide into the history of the silk scarves/artists behind them. I love that you shared some personal experiences in your silk-scarf selection process. But most of all, I love that you took scarves you may not have had use for and found a beautiful & practical everyday application for them 💛 thank you for sharing! ☺️
the cushion cover idea is brilliant G! finally i have a reason to buy a couple of scarves at the H private sale where they go for a song. can't wait to upgrade my couch situation this year!
How did you find the framing process? Before getting the scarf hanging system by Hermes, I did quite a bit of research on having some of my scarves framed..but all the quotes I received from local framers in Manhattan were astronomical 🫣
I also have a collection. Mostly Hermes but also Versace and a couple of Prada triangles. I am very found of the 80x80 Equestrian themed. However, I can never get the same knots as the models wear in the website. Can you help?
Great video! Gave me some good ideas!... I always buy a lot of stuff (designer items, jewelry pieces, art etc.) as souvenirs on vacations. It makes it extra special to reminisce 🤗
I was thinking of selling my Hermes scarves because I don’t wear them. Now I will keep them and hang them. Thank you for your detailed and passionate video.
My sister is expecting a female baby, so I just got the Hermes Factory scarf in the Bleu/Rose/Multicolore colorway as a gift for the baby. I think it looks quite youthful and I like the theme of hardwork.
Hermes scarves are very beautiful indeed. Someone once told me that there are retailers in Lyon who sell scarves of comparable quality at lower prices. I am sure there must be some who do, but I am thinking that it is unlikely that they could be on every street corner! I am thinking that the cheaper scarves look really nice, but are not at the Hermes level for the most part. Amazing that Hermes is so fabulous that even Martians are rushing here to buy there goodies! Thank you for the video. Have an amazing week!
I wouldn't be surprised if you could find comparable quality out there produced by artisans from the same region, but Hermes' unique designs are also part of the charm 😍
Turning the scarves into pillowcases is actually SO genius and unique. Hermes probably stopped doing the pillowcase service because it was competing with their own home department.
Ohhhhh the pillow cases r so smart & chic. ❤️🍊 I got the same last scarf at the NYC H Carre & I had the artist sign it. Thanks for sharing my love. 🙏🏼😘😘😘Sandy
My favourite is the scarf with the architecture and ufos. As I'm from an architects family and like everything space related. The trick turning scarfs into pillow is very clever. I personally don't like any kind of fabric mounted on the wall. So I would turn them all into pillows, probably 😊.
Thank you for an interesting video. Buying your scarves as souvenirs from your travels is kind of exciting. I do that a lot. In my country there are no Hermès boutiques, so I either buy my scarves online or on my travels. Think, how the "souvenir money" is invested in something that will stand the test of time. And of course from time to time one takes the memory lane when wearing or decorating one´s home with a certain scarf. 🐩🗼⛩🧣

Truly 😍
I have the best scarf

These pieces are truly worth the wait 😍

I’m have a new found love for them. At first I thought it looked messy and couldn’t understand the theme.

How very thoughtful of you 🤍

How beautiful 😍
Such an interesting video. I love how you've collected and curated these beautiful works of art. I may get one as an art piece.
You won't be disappointed 😍
Love the idea of the hanging system! And your collection is beautiful! ❤❤❤
Thank youuu 🖤
What do you think about the twilly on the Evelyne?
I actually quite like the twilly on more simple bags, like the Evelyne and Picotin 🫶
And I got mine 🧡Electrique scarf in Vegas 😎
Beautiful collection!❤ where did you get the Magnets?🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
They're by Hermes too 🤍
I also like to make pillows.
Am I surprised? No. You have exquisite taste 🙌
Im interested where he wears his scarfs?😊
