those plastic separators promising to keep your clothes organized and intact when you remove from the bottom of the pile. They do not work for thicker clothing such as hoodies, pants etc, tend to dislodge when trying to remove a thick piece thus toppling and unravelling the pile, and you have to manually fold to size to fit the separators which is time consuming. I replaced them with those "dress book folding board". It acts as a folding guide to have perfectly same sized folded clothes, even if your folding game sucks. Good for the OCD obsessed. Works for more varied types of clothing. The ribbon keeps it in place, does not matter if your pile topples, your clothes stays folded. Cons, it takes a bit more space as it adds bulk but I have had my clothes all over the floor, still neatly folded, which I just restack under a minute.
I have the multi tier pants hanger that looks like a rectangle with the bars going across. It has the bar the pants hang on that swings in and out and latches on the other side of the hanger. Super easy to load (I alternate sides I load from so it’s easier to access the pants), no bending and holds an incredible amount of weight. They have foam on each bar so it doesn’t crease the pants and the pants don’t slide off. I actually load two pairs of pants per bar. I’ve used them for years and they’ve save a ton of space. You should give those a try! The example you showed in the picture doesn’t have the latch on the other side, I can see how those bent on you
@@straightenupbyjanelle for the hangers I bought, I got some at bed bath and beyond (RIP) and the others I bought on amazon, unfortunately the listing doesn’t exist anymore. I will post a link below my comment from amazon to one that looks the most similar to what I have, hopefully YT will let me post the link!
@@straightenupbyjanelle Ahh YT keeps deleting the link. The listing name is: Pants Hangers Space Saving, 2 Pack Anti-Slip Space Saving Hangers, 5 Layer Swing Arm Pants Hanger Stainless Steel with Non-Slip Padding, Closet Organizers & Storage for Pants Trousers Jeans It shows up after the 2 sponsored listings for me.
I don't mean to be rude, so I hope it isn't taken that way, but a lot of the trends I've tried actually work with no issues. It just depends on which person you follow that has these trends, lol. I was watching one the other day and I absolutely love this lady she has amazing ideas but I got to adding up and thought yikes it would cost more for me to build the things she was using and the items were only 1.25 a piece haha. I think these yourubers are really trying to save folks money, but sometimes that's the damper in the project that it would cost more to use a cheaper product, lol. On the other hand there are a lot of trends that are really great! And the youtuber doesn't make extra money off of links to the product. Sometimes, they are really trying to help and also grow their youtube.
I keep most things like doaps. Spices, detergent in their purchase containers. I use containers for grains, and legumes. I use the fridge boxes for small items like butter sticks. The rest i find very overwhelming
In Australia where I live, Aldi had the food storage containers for keeping berries, lettuce etc fresh. First use the lid snapped in half on the berry one, on the first use the side clicking flap broke on the lettuce one. Sheesh. I HATE plastic for anything but a friend had bought them for me as he knew I always complain about my lettuce going slimy. Yeah, great products - not! Oh, and they took up so much space in the fridge I couldn't store other stuff. Great video, but I was soooo worried fluffball would knock over your vase! 🤭

I am soooo happy to hear you say this about pants organizers!!! I’ve been trying to like these things FOR YEARS.
they're the WORST!
i really like the ones with clips but for shorts & skirts ! i find long pants are too bulky for a tiered hanger
I always use those! love em.
I use the tiered hanger for lightweight pashmina scarves. So far so good.

6:30 Hello! Might I please ask where to find / buy the slide- out pants bar? Couldn’t see the link in the description. Thanks in advance. 😊
hey I had forgot to add the links. Just added to the description!
Storage trunks are great if you like stubbed toes too!
Haha right!!
You can stub your toe on a wall.
