Hi, my name is Amanda and I was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. My videos will document the entire process of battling cancer and hopefully winning! :)

my chemo is over thank God.my last chemo treat almost took me under but what healed me was the surgery remove of my left breast & i didn't lose all my hair i just made my long hair short so i could deal with my lymphedema fluid problems .i had stage 3 cancer.i got real bd sick on my last chemo
You are 1 Strong Blonde Amanda. Sorry your hair is a big deal... Hate that it hurts! You have to stop apologizing for giving gross details or feeling a certain way... You are doing a GREAT service to those of us about to or going through what you are... Even though mine is Lung Cancer, Chemo treatment for all of us and you are so sweet and helpful. I HOPE and pray you are well!
Hi, I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2012. The doctors at the VA Hospital in St. Louis told me I was going to die. Well, I'm still here and I'm not going to die. I put my faith in the Lord and He is the only reason I'm still alive. I take 1 10mg pill of Revlimid a day for 21 days and then I'm off for a week. I have a doctors appointment today to have a bone survey which takes about 45 minutes to an hour. I don't know what type of cancer you have but seriously, if you are not saved you need to get that way as soon as possible.
That is the part I am worried about...My mom's hair, it is gorgeous and my heart is broken, she has Stage 2 breast cancer and Monday will be her 2nd dose of chemo..I hope I can be strong when she loses her hair...Hair is important to us women, I'm sorry for anyone suffering out there and wish you all the love and healing you deserve....
Hi Amanda! Don't feel bad for being upset about losing your hair. It's okay to feel bad even though you are trying to stay positive. Stay true to your emotions, don't deny yourself from being honest about how you feel. It doesn't mean you aren't strong. I say take control and you choose when you are ready to get rid of your hair...we will be there with you for support. Big hugs!
Amanda..I've finally gotten around to watching every one of your videos tonight and you are such an inspiration...to everyone out there! Both who may be going through cancer or even those who aren't. You're a beautiful person inside and out...just remember the outside is temperary...the inside NO ONE OR NOTHING can change! I look forward to your future videos....take care and stay positive!! :)
You are so very inspiring! I can not imagine how loosing my hair let alone deal with all the side effects! You are so strong! I and the CTFxC family are here for you! I honestly would cry to watch the buzz, but wanna be there for you! U can do this!!!
You can complain some, you are going through a lot and it helps to let it out! I'm sorry about you losing your hair, I understand as a girl your hair means a lot to you and it's apart of you! But you will look beautiful with or without it! Keep up being positive and being strong! You're in my prayers and I'm sending lots of love!

thanks for all the in sight I have cancer and just had my port placement I am looking forward to start chemotherapy in a few days. thanks for all you updates and by the way you look good keep up the good fight.
Though you've already decided, it's definitely worth getting a buzz cut now that your hair is actually falling out. The fact that it's causing you pain (even if it's minor) and distress means now is the time. If you can, I would love to see the buzzed hair, to show us the next step in your journey, and then with the wig on. Most importantly of all though, keep fighting, stay strong! Lots of love from England. :)
good to hear that you are having some good days :) it might be better to just shave the hair of rather then seeing it fall out little by little, it would be cool if filmed it but only if you want to :) Stay strong! Love from Iceland

I'd try and maybe film some of your chemo appointments for those who don't really know what it's like. And I'd suggests maybe if u feel well enough between treatments to just pic up a camera and vlog at home if u want to film but don't feel well enough to do an "official" video. Stay strong! :)

Thought it wouldn't be a big deal being a guy but I was wrong! Mine does hurt when i lay down, also sick off seeing my hair on the pillow in the morning. And that im so over the sick felling.
