Maroon 5 - Memories & Pachelbel's Canon in D (mashup) - Viola Cover - Brigham Welch

It's no secret that Maroon 5's hit "Memories" uses the same chord progression and contains many of the same melodic ideas as Pachelbel's "Canon in D," I wanted to create an epic string ensemble version (multiple viola tracks) to show the ultimate mashup between these two hits. Enjoy!
I hope it doesn't bother anyone that this is changed to the key of C, so it's not a true Canon in D :-)

Way cool Brigham!, normally adding notes make a melody sound jazzy, but in this case subtracting notes made it jazzy.
