It's so different compared to the other songs on this album but it is really good. I like the direction that they're heading to.

+jaydavee A graphic but pessimistic depiction of a NIGHT NEVERENDING! Could possibly be a nightmare, the sing along anthemic part more might be deliberately ironic. I know it's from their 1st attempt at a concept album. Maybe it's not meant to make sense! Avatar do specialise in dark view medic irony. Just enjoy \m/(or NOT!)

+John Ward it's a don't give up & keep fighting song even though the first verse is dark. It's Wolf trying to motivate the nearly dead Owl to continue her life and her war. Owls live at night, so he came up with a fantasy of night never ending. There's still something to fight for even though Owl has mostly abandoned her original agenda over revelations of wrongness. It's a roundabout way into some positivity :D
jaydavee Yes Anthropomorphism is used in a similar fashion to Aesop's Fables! Animals don't have human traits. Mastodon have used similar ideas also.(The Hunter is a great album- check out "The Creature Lives.)
