This park looks amazing. Aqua rocket looks like an amazing water coaster and high extreme and speed slides look very intense. Plus they’re building two new drop pod slides in place of the old free fall slides which will add on to the amazing lineup
High Extreme looks like an absolute blast of a mat racer! I'm guessing they were designed as body slides and have been converted into mat slides due to age? The manufacturer is definitly the same one who made the slides in World Waterpark, and I know how crazy those can be! I hope they keep classic slides like these alive. They're so much more fun than a lot of the new cookie cutter slides out there.
it use to be a body slide called vortex. I was just there and a worker told me someone didnt follow the rules and got injured so they changed it to this one, which is still ok. Vortex came out back in the early 90s I think, when I first started going to raging waters.
I had a chance to come here while visiting California in 2014 but we passed on it. Maybe we just forgot about it completely because I honestly have no clue why we skipped it. But the Aqua Rocket wasn't open at the time so if it had been, we'd probably regret it even more.
Hold on... San Dimas, California... opened in 1983, 6 years before... say, this doesn't happen to be the waterpark Napoleon went to in Bill & Ted, is it? Edit: Okay I checked and apparently that scene was filmed in an entirely different state. Oh well... this park still looks pretty awesome! Edit #2: Well now apparently part of the scene was filmed at Sunsplash in Arizona and some of it here. Sheesh, the more you know.
I live in SoCal and was at raging waters on 7/4. The employees were testing out Bombs Away. Was “dropout” closed too when you went? Its the green steep slide?
Oh ok I didn’t know they removed dropout, no wonder I didn’t see it! I wasn’t going to ride it anyway. I got on Bermuda Triangle and that was enough thrill for me!
Schöner Park. Eine Folge von Baywatch spielte mal dort, ganz früher als die Serie noch gut war. Viele Rutschen sind aber ungepflegt, das geht gar nicht und wirkt auch sehr unprofessionell
Hallo from Cali! This is my local park. I go just to marathon High Extreme & Speed Slides. Do u know who manufactured those rides?... FYI: they changed their parking arrangements. If your tix read GENERAL PARKING, u'll be stuck in dirt lot about a mile away from the park, access by tram only, which can screw up your ability to get any rides before lines are massive. Only their exorbitantly priced ($50) PREMIUM PARKING will let you park AT the gate. Until 2022, general parking has been at the gate.
High Extreme and Speed Slides were built by the Surf Coaster company which went out of business. To clarify, premium parking is $40 which still expensive.
I went to this place so much as a kid, multiple times every summer. Awesome staple of my childhood. Love it there
me too, good memories

Yeah I’m excited for them to open
*Too bad you couldn’t film Tunnel of Terror or Bombs Away… they’re said to open up later in the summer.*
I went last summer and tunnel of terror was closed I’ll try to ride it this summer lol
i went this summer and Bombs Away and Tunnel Of Terror were open and i went on both and i can confirm both are very fun

Haven’t been there in years and I still remember the slides with this video montage. Wanna go back one of these days
I went here as a kid! I'm sure its way different now but I'm really excited to see a familiar water park name!
I would like to celebrate my 30th birthday here - July 23, 2023! Looks like an awesome waterpark!
How was it?it was 3 days ago
Just went today.
Best day I've had in a while!!!

@@brandonwilliams4333 Thanks for the info!
I still remember seeing the commercials for the Bermuda Triangle when it opened.
I'm going to it in about two days.
I was just here today lol-
I've been there back in 2007 and I love Speed Slide!
Thank you very much for the high quality video featuring all of the slides!
BTW, is bombs away open? and if not do you know when will it open? and what about Tunnel Of Terror?
@@shakedangi1013 they are supposed to open this summer
I haven’t bin here since 2018 and we moved back and we saw this today
justin beibers beauty and a beat filmed here
👍
The best part of neptunes fury is they cant you see you so you jump off the raft and then try to get back on before reaching the bottom
Yeah it’s pitch black also cool ride
I love the Kalahari round rock with the smoke that thunders
If you like that go to kalahari pa they have the smoke that thunders too but the drop is bigger and more intense

Aqua Rocket is a decent water coaster but it's quite short. The Speed Slides are by far the best rides here.
@@mitchellries256 No, the Bombs Away are just like the ones at Emerald Pointe, they even have the same color scheme. They might be a bit taller tho.
Love this ride
Wow what a cool park! they have a good selection of slides. i feel like they could improve on there speed slides though!
Yea but other than that it’s a epic waterpark
Song is Zach Sorgen-Sugarsweet
This looks great !
i was there today and the dark hole is soo fun
looks amazing
Nice
[Insert Terminator 2 director's cut scene here]
There’s still Bombs away and tunnel or terror
i went here like last week or something with my bro dad and mom
Is the lazy river still there? I haven’t been there since 1998
oh yeah it is
Ye it’s still there
Why are there no lines? There's usually packed!
Yeah especially dragons den and high extreme
You missed one water slide at Splash Island Adventure, there are 4 water slides on it
If you ever get around toronto, can you do Calypso waterpark rides? Would be cool, i we t there and it is awesone
Did they give the guy who is wearing a shirt any problems on any of the slides? Also can you wear water shoes?
I was here today
any idea whats the weight limit?

Los Angeles? It's in San Dimas? Wtf is going on?
I thought it was in san dimas
But it's not every slides
how crazy does it get on the weekends? im planning to to in 2 weeks (holiday weekend)
It depends on the time you go there, I recommend to get there as soon as the park opens since later there will be a lot of people
Goofy ahh song but the rest is sick.
Bro what even are the songs 💀💀
Are there going to be separate povs for the slides too?
Yes!
I live in SoCal and was at raging waters on 7/4. The employees were testing out Bombs Away. Was “dropout” closed too when you went? Its the green steep slide?
They removed dropout
Correct. Bombs Away is replacing Dropout.
It was really sad, it was one of the only freefall slides left made by Fred Langford,
@@Craze64712 Well, at least they kept the Surf Coaster Speed Slides. Would have been really sad if they were taken out instead.
Oh ok I didn’t know they removed dropout, no wonder I didn’t see it! I wasn’t going to ride it anyway. I got on Bermuda Triangle and that was enough thrill for me!
There making a bombs away and just opened Dr.von’s tunnel of terror
A music video was filmed here
Ima make a list of the ones I want to go on … I’m goin this Saturday!

Was it very busy?
It’s usually pretty busy but I’ve only been once lol
How would you guys rank these slides?

@@tuberides.official Ah the elusive search for the best defunct slide manufacturer ever has been solved! Thank you!
@@tuberides.official Perhaps they prorate the premium parking for the weekends. I was there last Saturday and RW was charging $50 for premium.
I might go here with my friend soon but I can't swim for shit :(
All the good rides are closed. Currently ragin waters is better
Stop lying. Some of the rides you showed aren’t open
🤦♂️ Obviously, all rides shown in the video were open when we went.
They opened them 🤦♂️
NO WAY REALLY 😱😱😱 almost like waterslides can be closed
