Midnight Sun Festival 2011 Ben Boyd Show

Midnight Sun Festival in Downtown Fairbanks, June 19th 2011. An annual event put on by the Fairbanks Downtown Association that attracts as many as 30 thousand people to celebrate the longest day of the year.
This video is a TV commercial aired on Channel 11 advertising Ben Boyd's 60's Hits Show performed on the Bear Stage, Noble & 2nd Ave. at 9:20. The Show will conclude with Ben and his daughter Hanna doing their Native Hoop Dance for which they are very well known through out Alaska. Ben, at age 67 uses 26 hoops and is one of the oldest Hoop Dancers in the World. He started dancing when he was six. Hanna, at age nine is using 11 hoops, highly unusual for a child of that age, and started dancing when she was four.
Ben became a professional musician at age 13 and has been performing 50's
& 60's Hits ever since the recordings first came out. Using Computer technology he is able to prerecord all the instrumental and back-up vocal tracks himself and perform live as a "One Man Band" doing the lead vocals and instrumental solos,
