Usually the same board you use for downhill works for snowkiting. I look for a twin because you will be riding it both ways and full camber to make sure it has an aggressive edge. For Ice kiting with the Switchblade I look for these same features but a little shorter than I would use otherwise.
@@TheRealJeremyJones I never snowboard or even been in snow in general. I'm moving to minot nd from south Mississippi. Been kiting for 12 years so I figured a snowboard would be easier to learn then skis. But I have no clue when it cones to snowboards lol

how’s the wind and speed upwind angle?
Wind speed was around 12mph in this video. You nailed it, it is very similar to the hydrofoil in water so smaller kite and very steep upwind angles.
