10 years on, Na Ying doesn’t seems to age a day! Zhang Bi Chen rendition of this song is awesome. Personally like it more than JJ original. She has outstanding vocal and she looks good too. Perfect formula to make it big internationally. Happy to see her again in Sing! China 2021.
Even though stefanie sun wrote and have probably sung it too, I don't think she's ever made an official version. If im not mistaken BiChen is the one that popularise the female version of this song. Probably helped made it reached more audience even though JJ's was already really popular. I remember noticing a significant amount of female covers of this song since BiChen. Personally I wish she made an official version or sung a similar kind of song like this. She has a a nice voice and great singing, but this song in particular is my favourite of her performances.
This is the most professional rendition of the song I have heard. I like 林俊杰’s clarity and 燕姿’s emotional delivery, but this is movie theme song quality.
I know 张碧晨 has been really popular since The Voice, but I honestly have not quite liked her other performance as much as this. I think the thing about being a singer is really about getting 1 good song that really fits you. I haven't really followed her career but I believe this is one of her most iconic and defining performance.
