I agree that American crafts should bring back chipboard stickers. I also like peeling off the backing and when you have little pieces hanging off of your project then they're not going to be sticking to everything else. Chipboard also doesn't bend as easily as the foam, which means that the image doesn't get warped or creased. I heard from someone that works at American crafts and they said they just were basically trying a new product. But I think every one of us that loves chipboard needs to continue to voice our opinion to American crafts so hopefully they'll bring it back. The foam stickers are just not great for paper crafting, like you said. It's very easy for it to get damaged. In fact, I ordered some of the forever Fields foam stickers and the package was bent and therefore some of my stickers on the bottom edge got warped/ creased and they're damaged now. I can't use them. It's very frustrating because we're the ones spending all of our money on the products and they take away the products that we enjoy. I don't understand why they took the 12x12 chipboard sticker sheet away when other designers such as Paige Evans and Bea Valint Have chipboard elements in their new collections. It seems like if they're going to manufacture chipboard products, why can't they still include a 12x12 sticker sheet option? Those of us that like the chipboard stickers would buy it and those people that like the foam stickers would buy that instead. Why not put out both products? They're going to get money from us no matter what LOL Also, I don't know if Maggie Holmes is working with crate paper anymore. I think she just worked directly with American crafts for this particular collection. I don't know if crate paper is even active with AC anymore. We haven't had a really cute crate paper collection come out in quite some time and I don't know if they're even working with other designers like Maggie Holmes anymore. I think this is also why we're seeing so many differences in her collections/ AC products. 😕
I love this collection, and am awaiting some double sided papers and ephemera soon! It pairs so well with her other collections in this color way, such as Heritage. Thanks for sharing, can’t wait to see what you make with it!
That is so true!! I shouldn’t complain about it. I was saying it definilty works for some and not for others, depending on the type of crafter you are. ❤
@@paperdreamsandthings2275 you’re totally right. Different things for different crafters. I was shocked to hear that some people love the clear stickers 😅😳
Love maggie holmes ❤
