I remember the show here in LA on channel 56 preserve the area for you I really enjoyed seeing the crowds but it was really disappointing when people ask him questions and they come out with some smart remark other than that it was a great show
Ha - I saw this live. It's actually from Orange County. Lux and Ivy brought along some Bollywood clips too. The Rollins show Gia announces around 2:00 was awesome as well.
Probably 1991 , because this lineup , with Nicky Beat from The Weirdos , did'nt play very long . I saw them , with Nicky and Slim Chance (on Bass) in '91. They may have finished this tour, together, but , they soon hired Harry Drumdini to play drums.
Have met the band a few times, seen them in various situations, & seen several interviews. Have never seen them look this bored & uncomfortable... but no shock - terrible show format for showcasing them, if that was supposed to be part of it. The hostess has that teflon "cheer" of contemporary girls who chirp "Oh, you're fine," when you are polite enough to say "Excuse me to them." Finally: they had to sit through Bohemian Rhapsody, just the sort of thing I know Lux & Ivy would consider to be bloated tripe. Cringe-inducing! But Lux says a couple of cool things. The fabulous Ms. Ivy seems unusually shut down...
There is a section in the Rock Hall Museum in Cleveland where they have all the Akron bands; there they have Nick's broken Cramps kick drum logo next to Devo memorabilia. Unofficially in the museum, sort of, yes, kinda.
To all you grieving the loss of Lux, He ain't dead!!! He's doing the grave yard stomp!!!!
the host is unflappable. love her.
The best. I remember LA days and seeing this Live on TV !!! Shocking Cramps. Excellent as always!!! 😜
Dude, Lux was hella funny! And clearly the leader of the band!

As amusing in their interviews as they are in their songs.

Yikes does no one understand their humour at all? Should’ve got someone with a little edge to do this with them
