Very interesting history - thank you for your video. I always feel for the Welsh Lords who tried so hard to keep their properties and ultimately lost out. Nowadays we all enjoy the fact of having Wales as part of UK & hopefully keeping it as it's very beautiful & historic self. I fell in love with North Wales many years ago & returned for years with my kids to camp on the Western coast - Snowdonia still calls to me, but now an old lady in the USA I can only visit via UA-cam. The Welsh Princes castles were always the ones I preferred - small & proud like Dolbedarn castle - just a single tower. I guess I relate to those who were battling the greedy & powerful !
I agree North Wales is a magical place. Conquest always has two stories to tell, and you can definitely hear those tales in the old castles of the Welsh Princes for sure.
