Hey David, nice to see you out on the mountain. I hear ya about those tricky wolves, smart animals that deserve respect and need wily ways to obtain. Hope that your kids and Kelsie are doing fine. I am in the process of hiring crew to replace the clay liner on my three story chimney off my woodstove. After 38 years the heat has really caused damage. Take care of yourself..
Firewood closed for me on January 1st on National Forest land. Can't wait until May 1st when it opens back up again. Gotta find someone who needs some trees taken down just to get the saws back out again.
I do allot of similiar work in similiar conditions....best thing you can do to keep yourself safe is to spend $20 on anazon for some cramp ons they have a thick rubber band, with a velcro strap over the top and metal spikes on the bottom. Zero sliding with them. Keep it safe
Hello from sunny California New subscriber, love watching you work, you really have it down . Your bio says Pacific Northwest, I am originally from Glendale Oregon in southern Oregon and your timber looks like my area. Thanks for sharing your fun
Good to see you sir! Yea I've had a very itchy trigger finger and went yesterday to get some wood but its still winter up onion creek! The berm from the plow on edge of road was still to high at entrance of the road i go up so no wood! Hopefully next week sometime i can get uo there! Good stuff as always, see ya next time!
You must have had the saw carb still at warm temp settings. I saw you walking back around 6:00, you must have retuned. You might need to engage the winter air diverter on the saw as well.
Wolf trapping that’s awesome. I do some trapping when I get time. Got a couple beavers. They destroyed my friends property. Cool how you get your firewood.
I wish that you could get a better microphone chain saw so loud have to turn volume way down then when you start talking turn it way up and still can't under stand what your sawing

It's good to see something from ya, David. Is the back doing any better?
And the shoulder as well.
That’s’a jag!
To help kick it around where you want it you can put a Dutchman in it
do you use Non-ethanol gas in your saw mix
use it in all my mowers and equipment don't have the trouble starting in the spring
No never have
