- Hello everyone and welcome back! In this video we find ourselves in the countryside in the Eraclea Mare area, attending another 2023 shredded corn. At work we find a Claas Jaguar 980 shredder. For the collection and transport of the chopped corn, intended for the production of Biogas, we is entrusted to a series of tractors including:
1) Fendt 820 combined with a 3-axle Bossini dumper
2) Claas Axio 850 combined with a 3-axle Tecnosima dumper
3) Case Ih 195 combined with a Valzelli 3-axle dumper
4) John Deere combined with a Zaccaria 3-axle dumper
5) John Deere combined with a Bertuola dumper.
The Claas Jaguar 980 is a shredding machine that went into production in 2020, equipped with an 850hp MAN D2862 V12 turbo diesel engine. It weighs 13.9 tonnes and is approved for road travel at 40km\h. The displacement is 24.24 litres.
The Claas Jaguar is the best-selling mulcher series in the world. More than 40,000 units have been produced since 1973. The series is constantly updated. Currently its top model is the 990 equipped with a 925hp Man v12 engine.

La 980 nel video è una 494, modello prodotto fino al 2014 e motorizzata MAN D28 V12 con ben 884cv 😉(motorizzazione utilizzata anche per le 497 e 498 fino al 2019, poi dal 2020 con le 502 sono cambiate le potenze)
