What is used in the video
- Acrylic paint- primary red, bright green and dark red.
- Paper bead roller
- stick glue

I made several thousand paper beads in various sizes and shapes for Christmas gifts. One of my favorites is to make beads of pages from unwanted, thrown away books. Especially during the summer, I want to make something to keep my hands busy. When I need beads of a particular color ( and I don't have time to make them to order), I paint them using a sea sponge. I put many in an old metal bowl and sponge on layer upon layer of shades of the color I need. (Magazine beads usually don't paint well for me.) I prefer to make the bead the color I want from the start, but life doesn't always cooperate. I really like how you colored your paper before rolling. Very, very nice. I so enjoy your channel. Hi 👋😊. I understand that feeling when you always want to keep your hands. I do the same😅. Wow that sounds pretty nice painting with a sponge. I have never tried it before. Yes, sometimes you need to improvise especially when you want a particular colour and you can paint it yourself.

Your paper beads are the best!! I haven't been able to make as many as I want because of school, but I hope once finals are done I'll have some time for my crafts! I love paper bead making and embroidering 😊
