South African women treat disease through nuclear medicine

  • Nuclear medicine is a medical specialty that utilizes small amounts of radioactive substances to diagnose and treat various diseases. Two South African doctors are demonstrating that the sky's the limit for women. Both are nuclear physicians at the Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria. Thuso Khumalo visited them and filed this report.
