Bolt filed an application with the US Patent and Trademark Office on Aug. 17 for the logo in connection with products including jewelry, purses, sunglasses, shoes and sporting goods. Yohan Blake, Tyson Gay and Justin Gatlin would have been the major championships' winners and record holders at any other time in the history of athletics except in Usain Bolt era. He ran with the best and consistently beat the best. He is a legend.

I watched a lot of sprinters in my day. Carl Lewis was a favorite of mine. He won 4 Gold Medals, matching Jesse Owens Medals. Usan Bolt had an incredible power stroke, which made him so menacing. And that power, with his height and long stride. Put him in a class, all by himself. The best there was.

Yohan Blake only beat him once, just like Tyson Gay and Justin Gatlin did. He really had no rivals.
