This softly softly treatment of criminals is what has brought south Africa to this lawlessness.. People jump our borders to vandalize civic infrastructure.. We have no street lights, traffic lights. Dump sites everywhere and no consequences!!.. The state must enforce laws!!
Heavy-handed approaches to law enforcement, particularly in vulnerable communities, risk violating human rights and exacerbating tensions between the state and citizens. Examples like the Marikana tragedy illustrate the dangers of prioritizing force over dialogue and community engagement.
Vavi is so two-faced, he is in alliance with the government. What has he done to find solutions to these problems. It is easy to talk, especially when your pockets are full. The unemployed are desperate
Zwelinzima Vavi, as the general secretary of the South African Federation of Trade Unions (SAFTU), has been a vocal critic of the ANC government and is not in a formal alliance with it. SAFTU has consistently called out government failures and challenged policies they believe harm the working class, reflecting Vavi's commitment to advocating for workers' rights and holding the government accountable.
He is and he has been quiet not fighting the government for South Africans unemployment. He is only concetrating on money like the ANC and EFF, only fight for the workers paying subscription fees to the trade union. He has been sleeping the same deep sleep that the government has been sleeping. He could be saying something about the foreigners tuckshop owners deliberately killing South African children.🤬😡
Encouraging people to act "by any means necessary" undermines the rule of law and social order, leading to chaos and instability. Societies rely on agreed-upon rules to function; breaking these rules creates a precedent that can harm everyone, including those advocating for this approach.
The challenges facing South Africa-such as unemployment, poverty, infrastructure development, and social inequality-require specialized attention. A larger cabinet allows for the establishment of focused ministries to address these complex issues. Having more ministers doesn't inherently equate to inefficiency; effectiveness depends on leadership and implementation.
This zama zama started before GNU, the GNU started a lesser than 6 months ago. Do research prior to making these views. Go and tell Vavi, ANC and EFF about this. P
@@OratiloeKhumalo I suspect the propaganda machine has misled you. Do you remember the reasons put forward by the DA and FF+ for a smaller cabinet before they were included in the cabinet? In which part of the world has there been improvement of service delivery by increasing the budget for cabinet (the elite politicians) while at the same time decreasing the budget for health, education, police, the army, agricultural development and support for SMMEs?
Dismissing external perspectives outright may prevent constructive ideas and solutions from being considered. Outsiders can offer objective insights and propose innovative approaches untainted by local biases or entrenched viewpoints. Collaboration with people from different backgrounds can lead to more comprehensive and effective solutions, especially for complex issues.
Vavi chose an easy route to blame. He has been napping just like tge same government. He failed to raise his voice. Also there r young children there allegedly so which mine they have been working from. He is quiet as South Africans complains about unemployment as employers and government employs illegal migrant. As a South African, you should also be fighting for South Africans and not only working paying their union monthly subscription. 🤬😡
Illegal mining is deeply rooted in unemployment, inequality, and poverty. These systemic issues require long-term socioeconomic reforms, which are in progress through government programs such as the Reconstruction and Recovery Plan. While the government faces significant challenges in addressing illegal mining and border control, evidence suggests that these issues are recognized and addressed through legislation, enforcement, and regional cooperation. The phrase "government is fast asleep" oversimplifies complex socio-economic and administrative realities.
Mining is for Rich people thats what it means SA ,There is no black empowerment go to Zimbabwe black people are the ones doing mining ,they are given small scale mining licensing and i believe Zimbabwe has got most black rich people through mining and agriculture you might argue but its a fact
Vavi’s role as a trade union leader is to represent workers' interests, advocate for systemic change, and hold those in power accountable. His "complaining" is part of this advocacy and should not be dismissed as inaction. Highlighting failures and proposing solutions through public platforms is a critical form of leadership, not passivity.
This Vavi guy says other people are asleep but where is he coming from? Where is his voice when illegal foreigners take jobs from South Africans? As a unionist what is his solution to the high rate of unemployment in this country? Blah blah blah blah and then he goes back to his comfy zone.

You r so right. Vavi is talking BS and did do research before coming and talking BS. Where did those children work which mines, maybe in his house.
@@OratiloeKhumalo When criminals are supposed to be punished you talk human rights. What about the rights of the victims of criminality?
The ANC are asleep from the beginning-- talk talk talk , laugh laugh laugh, lazy lazy lazy and very incompetent!!!! Thats why everything a mess
If you know better go and assist. No police men will go down and risk his life

Did Anc and government send people to the abandoned mines?
This mess started during the reign of the criminal government of the NP
This mess started when the NP criminals were in charge.

People are free to deploy any means necessary, all of us uave the right to live and to feed our families.
Then maybe we all be involved in criminal activity to feed our families. I like it.

"GNU" is the biggest and most expensive cabinet since 1994, and they are fast asleep??? Yerrrrrr😂
