i agree - Michael Bay was just a producer on this movie - didnt direct or write. in fact the Director was Travis Knight a (stop motion animator) for Laika studios who produced works of art such as Boxtrolls, COraline and Kubo :) i loved Bumblebee. this girl was brilliant in the lead and wow to sing the soundtrack - the FORM is back in Transformers :)
Yes at when I first heard of Hailee Steinfeld I didn’t like her at first. Then when I heard she was going to be in Bumblebee I thought it wasn’t going to be good but after I saw it I like a lot now and my favorite movie I’ve seen

Just watched Bumblebee yesterday and I was like riding on an emotion rollercoaster. There was just so many scenes that I love, and of course I'm here to support our sweetest Bumblebee and courageous Charlie💛
Hailee Steinfield was by far the best main character for Transformers and this was my favorite Transformers movie. There was very mild to no suggestive themes, innuedo, hardly any swearing No F words and she dresses and acts appropriate unlike Megan Fox and that other girl in TF3. Transformers 1-3 would have been a lot better with her as the main character than Sam Wiwikey. Plus she is tough and brave who stood by and helped Bumblebee stop the Decepticons. I like it when they keep movies clean.
Blame Michael Bay for perving on girls like Megan then wouldn't cast Megan again because she called him a Nazi and miscasting Shia as the lead Mikela should've been cast as the lead instead since she knows so much about cars. Sam didn't know shit about cars all he cared about was getting the hot car and the hot girl he was a douchbag. He treated Bumblebee like shit Mikela had to save his ass countless times, wouldn't say I love you to Mikela which she should've figured out sooner that she was just a trophy girlfriend to him. Sam expected the govt to hand him a job after he helped save the world when he said he wanted to live a normal life meaning he wanted to do things on his own and not have handouts the govt may have offered him a job but he said no. If you notice in the 3rd movie he is bumbling, stumbling and not being professional in his job interviews. Mikela dumped his ass Bumblebee went back to the Autobots which is where he belonged anyway not sitting in Sam's garage so Sam quickly lost the hot girl and the hot car. But got himself a new hot girl how long before Carly the new hot girl dumps his ass too? I'm sorry but Sam such a moron and an asshole all around. Charley was the opposite she was kind, caring, compassionate, gentle but badass, strong and tough plus she also knew a lot about cars like Mikela she was taught her father. When she first put her hands on Bee and he leaned into her touch it was like "AWWW." Because Bee was scared he didn't know who he was and his vocal cords were damaged he had no way of communication this human girl was the only way to help him find out who he is and why he was on earth. He and Charley had fun with each other while helping Bee regain his memories it was so sad that they had to part ways Charley knew Bee was meant to help protect only her planet but is now to become Bee's new home as well. She knew he couldn't stay with her and Bee knew this too they swore never to forget each other then Bee copies a Camero and transforms into a Camero and Charley is like "WTF?" She's shocked but she laughs about it as well as Bee drives off.
Not to mention that she isn’t over the top either. Aside from Simmons, cause I absolutely loved him, there weren’t any believable/relatable characters. Sam took a while to change into someone likable.
I really appreciate this song, because as you can see from the movie and hear from the lyrics that Bumblebee and Charlie both helped each other to accomplish their goals. They helped each other become better people..or robot. They gave eachother the strength they needed. Also...I love the 80's influences! I was not expecting this for a Transformers movie, but it definitely had it's own unique things that I'm sure will resonate strongly with others. It surely brought the Transformers franchise "Back to life!"

Just watched this movie, and this song is a bop!! Also Hailee really is an amazing actress. She brought her acting A-game and hit every dramatic beat in the movie.
Even though I already saw the movie and loved every second of it I still want to go and see it again because I loved it so much. From the G1 designs to a main character that I actually liked to the triple changers and everything even the human drama we all hated in the bay films, I found myself actually liking them. My heart started beating faster once the movie started and it pretty much stayed that way through the entire movie. It means more to me than I could ever express that the shadow that bay cast over the franchise seems to finally be fading.
I'm legit surprised. I liked the first movie for what it was at the time but the sequels had a lot of flaws but this one was better than all of them combined. I kinda bummed this wasn't the start of the series (I'm hoping they make this the start of a reboot lol).

Currently, the movie has 100% on rotten tomatoes...that's the highest critic score ANY Transformers movie has including the animated movie from the 80's. Obviously it'll go down as more people review it but damn, you can say this movie really brought the franchise back to life.
May be an unpopular opinion, but I'm not the biggest fan of a lot of her music, but she's easily my favorite actress currently out there. Her performance in Edge of Seventeen was Spectacular.

Well said she succeeded where Sam failed she was gentle and compassionate towards Bumblebee it makes sense now why in the first Transformers movie why Bumblebee couldn't speak. No doubt he's thought of Charley over the years he may have even stopped by to see her once in a while after all she was the one who gave him his voice and helped him restore his memories of why he was sent to earth she basically saved his life.

Currently, the movie has 100% on rotten tomatoes...that's the highest critic score ANY Transformers movie has including the animated movie from the 80's. Obviously it'll go down as more people review it but damn, you can say this movie really brought the franchise back to life.

Well said she succeeded where Sam failed she was gentle and compassionate towards Bumblebee it makes sense now why in the first Transformers movie why Bumblebee couldn't speak. No doubt he's thought of Charley over the years he may have even stopped by to see her once in a while after all she was the one who gave him his voice and helped him restore his memories of why he was sent to earth she basically saved his life.
