You need to do several things: 1. meet him after killing the lost sinner 2. meet him after killing the rotten 3. meet him after kiling the old iron king 4. meet him after killing the dukes dear freja 5. meet him at the first bonfire in the undead crypt 6. meet him at the dragon shrine bonfire room 7. very important: kill Vendrick FIRST. 8. then kill nashandra, and he will appear if you killed nashandra first you'll have to use a bonfire ascetic to revive her. Kill vendrick and then kill her again and Aldia will apear after her
