Shortening the length of the gown gave it a whole new look. This kind of alteration can breathe new life into gowns that have been sitting unused at the back of closets. Wonderful work! 💖
The shortened length looked really chic with the white heels. Maybe not as formal but since it was for an elopement type party a less formal sort of dress matched the occasion appropriately.
There was nothing classy about the full length dress. It looked tacky as hell. The shortened version makes the dress look like ot was made for her. The original is just another copy and paste probably more suited to a tounger bride...
@@charl6681 well I think it's not really whether it looks better longer or shorter but just a matter of preference especially if she wanted to dance. It's her day, her dress her choice. Personally I would like it longer. She was beautiful, happy marriage 🎉
It's a very different dress with the shorter length. I personally prefer the before length but the bride had a vision and she executed it! She looked lovely and so did your work!
I have to admit, I loved the flair at the bottom of the dress when it was long but the shorter version looked awesome too. I love the shoulder covering - I assume you made it from the fabric you cut off. Wonderful way to use the fabric and a marvelous finishing touch. I love the choice to go tea length. Such an elegant look!
The detail at the hem of the train was a shame to lose but im loving how the alterations and bustling of the dress complement the brides figure so much more than the unaltered garment!
Both dresses looked great at either length, and they really fit the bride. She had good taste to begin with and a clear vision of what she wanted, which, with your expertise, turned out surprisingly well. 👏🏼👏🏼
Beautiful! I like that you'll listen to what they want, but interject if you think something would take away from the dress. It takes a real pro to help take people's ideas and put them into motion in a way that will work. Beautiful dress that made the bride shine, great job!
@@FoxDren it's not just about doing what the client wants. They aren't professionals. Sometimes we think we want X when we really need Y. If they didnt like her suggestion, they would double down on their original idea.
The bride? Yes she picks nice dresses and ruins them with her complete lack of taste. Does she not see how shorter dress makes her shorter and fatter?! Unbelievable
"What is with you and wanting to cut all these dresses"🤣🤣🤣🤣 For real tho, but they both came out so so so lovely 🌹🖤 Just so funny how this bride was so excited to chop it ✂️
Ok, so obviously you’re amazing at what you do, but I just want to say that you come off as such a lovely human being, and you just have the most delightful vibe, so much positivity and love radiates from you. ❤
You remind me of my mother, she did alterations her whole life and was a very good and popular at it. I miss her every day. Watching you and your work is comforting. I truly enjoy watching you 😊
Oh, it‘s perfect. I love that you have the eye to see exactly how to make the dress sing a different and glorious song, and the hands to make the vision come true.
i have to tell you, you did fantastic with both but that second dress just having those adjustments almost makes it an entirely new dress??? i was stunned such arguably small changes would totally change how she looked in that dress, its beautiful. not to ignore the first one- theres such a sense of tidiness that adjusting it the way you did brings to it that really makes it look more properly like a formal wedding dress. but my goodness! the bust, the waist, the skirt- she picked such good shoes for it too. phenomenal work- im glad that you two talked it out and worked together.
Gal, you are not an alterator. You are a natural designer. And what l mostly love about you is that u give advice to your clients. Love that mostly about you ❤❤
Beautiful elegant and wonderful job! The elopement dress was perfect for the courthouse and the black lace was used to close up that gaping in the back
I just found you a few days ago, and I'm so glad I did. You are so talented. I have yet to find an alteration that I didn't like. Watching you in your element is downright addictive.
the black and white dress is literally my dream dress, i've had it on my pinterest for ages! the second one looks stunning with that '50's look, you always do such good work :)
You ma’am, are a credit to your brand and to your industry! One must do what the customer wants/needs. That’s what customer service is all about. In this day and age, there’s far too few people who do what the customers want. Even though the customer is paying for a service. And sometimes if they do what the customer wants, they will do a poor job/ service. Whether you wanted to cut the dresses or not, did not reflect on your work! You gave the bride what she asked for and she looked beautiful on her special day. And her dress fit her perfectly. Bravo 👏
I can see why you fought cutting the first one and not so much on the second one. Personally I wouldve made the second one maybe even an inch or two shorter but it really came out so amazing I love it
I'm laughing my a off. "What is with you and wanting to cut all these dress!?"
Me too 😂 I love when she gets real
The length with the heels on looked incredible. Before that it looked a little iffy. You do a great job!
I loved her whole look for the ceremony

Agreed! Initially I thought "ooooh I don't know about that length, it just looks awkward" but with the heels....absolutely!
Your work is phenomenal.
The last picture is stunning. Like the shorter version better.
I agree with you, it was a shame she shortened the second dress. The hem added so much class & style
The shortened length looked really chic with the white heels. Maybe not as formal but since it was for an elopement type party a less formal sort of dress matched the occasion appropriately.
I agree. It looked classy when it was longer.
It looks much classier shorter. Went from Halloween ghost bride to 1950's housewife.
There was nothing classy about the full length dress. It looked tacky as hell. The shortened version makes the dress look like ot was made for her. The original is just another copy and paste probably more suited to a tounger bride...

me too, longer is more elegant!
It's giving 50s elegant glam. 100%.

Perfect comment. And the shoulder covering is what REALLY made it all come together to give it that 50ish flare!

agreed!!
Or you know, she could do what the client is paying her to do instead of trying to force her own ideas on them.

Your alterations are STUNNING you are so skilled at what you do ❤
you mean 'alterations'😅 altercation is a whole other word, i don't see her fighting with anyone
@@binary964 omg autocorrect really failed me here 😭😭 i did type alterations but i guess my phone didn't catch it and I didn't notice ahahaha
She certainly is.
She sure knows how to pick beautiful dresses. You did great altering both dresses. You made a Bride's dream come true.
The bride? Yes she picks nice dresses and ruins them with her complete lack of taste. Does she not see how shorter dress makes her shorter and fatter?! Unbelievable
She has an absolutely stunning and great sense of style! ELEGANCE at its finest!!
Agreed. Before she showed it with the heels I was unsure, but seeing it all done up was so beautiful and perfect
I am blown away by your attention to detail. This looks absolutely stunning!! You’re a miracle worker
You took the words right out of my mouth!!!
Love the shoulder covering, gave it a classic look.
Stunning as always I too wish she’d kept the length
It looks stunted and awkward, Idk what everyone else is talking about...
@@darinaangelova2882yeah, it’s an awkward length IMO. If it were slightly shorter, closer to mid calf, it would’ve said 50s more to me.
"What is with you and wanting to cut all these dresses"🤣🤣🤣🤣 For real tho, but they both came out so so so lovely 🌹🖤 Just so funny how this bride was so excited to chop it ✂️
FABULOUS! I like the shorter version much better.
Good choice! The after looked more appropriate for that setting. It looked classy and fitting for the environment she was in. Great job!
That's stunning, and i love the bride's style! So gorgeous.

❤love both dresses & the changes! Great work!
Those sleeves you added to the second dress make the shortened length make sense❤
I do not like the shorter length for me but im glad she got exactly what she wanted. And you did it beautifully.
You are so truly gifted. What a treat to watch your work and how you bless so many.
I’m so glad UA-cam did whatever it does so that I see your videos! So impressed, so inspired.
Thanks for posting!
She looked fabulous and you ma’am are crazy talented!

There you go, she does have a good eye for what she does.😊
She was a happy bride. I'm happy for her. You did a beautiful job!❤
Fantastic finish! I love that you warned her about chopping her dress up before actually trimming it down. 😊
I love what you did with the second dress. Using the fabric cut to make a little cape, that's gorgeous and clever! It adds so much to the dress!

A tea length wedding dress! So 1920’s!! Very vintage look! I love it!!
I absolutely love that first wedding dress with the black! It's beautiful❤
The white dress was stunning. You got it just the right length. ❤
Gal, you are not an alterator. You are a natural designer. And what l mostly love about you is that u give advice to your clients. Love that mostly about you ❤❤
I prefer the 2nd dress shorter. It's gorgeous. Great job!
She looks so comfortable, confident and *fabulous* 💅🏼
You've done an incredible job on both of them!!! The shortened dress is just gorgeous!!!
I’m horrible at sewing so for me this is like magic. You must be a wizard.
My thoughts exactly!
The transformation is MAGICAL!! 🧚🏾♀️
🤩🥰👗💃🏻👰♀️ subscribed ♥️
Love the shortened altered version
Your work is beautiful! I giggled at your reply to her on the dresses. I feel you there.
Stunning! Absolutely gorgeous! Your work is perfection!
The after suits her so well 😍😍😍 absolutely gorgeous
I am in LOVE with the chopped length of the white dress, and the vintage/antique aesthetic it creates 😍✨
I love the 50s elegant glam look! Great job!
Raising the hem on the second dress was a great choice. Showing a little ankle has a slimming effect on the whole silhouette. ❤❤❤
don't you just love it when dresses actually FIT the owner just perfect. pure chef kiss
I think the link that she wanted was awesome. I personally have always liked a tea length dress.
You worked absolutely magic with both of her dresses!
You have impeccable taste, and I agree with you on how you tailored both of these beautiful dresses.
You’re a rare individual. Not many people around who do what you do and you do it really well!
It looked absolutely perfect on her....
Amazing Hands 💗
Its absolutely STUNNING!! thank you for not cutting that incredible train off! I love every single idea you brought to her. She looked gorgeous ❤
I like the addition of the sheer shrug or sleeves. It really adds to a 50s look. It softened the look of the dress and added a touch of romance.
You do beautiful work transforming these dresses, so pretty!!
I really like what you did with the black accents on the first dress. It looks absolutely beautiful. I’m glad you didn’t cut it.
Beautiful work! And great advice you gave the bride as well. Lovely!
Beautiful decisions for both dresses. That tea length on the second dress is magical!
Definitely the right move this time. Looks fabulous!!
So glad you didn’t cut off the train! The second dress is absolutely beautiful on the client
I honestly like the shorter length better!
Yes the second dress shortened is so fitting on her
Me too 😃 It looks like a dress, not a nightgown 🤣🤣
You are a magician! Second dress is much, much better!! Love it!!!!!
Beautiful elegant and wonderful job! The elopement dress was perfect for the courthouse and the black lace was used to close up that gaping in the back
You did amazing, but the original length looked sooo much better 😢
I agree with the bride! Her vision fit the occasion! She looks beautiful perfect length with those heels

Your re-creations are simply amazing!

Really liked the 50s vibe on the shortened dress!
You did one of the best work of art I've ever seen before. That's beautiful!
I've seen wedding gowns as well. They look very nice. Love the bustling and the little wrap with the shorter dress nice touch on the 50:s glam
I'm so glad you didn't cut the bottom off that first dress; it is GORGEOUS 👌🏻❤️
Omg gorgeous!!! You’re so gifted!
I wish i had a talent such as yours . It looks amazing .
Thank you ❤
A bride with GORGEOUS taste
Your work is amazing! Thank you for sharing!
I love the ballroom length. So glad to see it back. A little higher is even more flattering.
I love watching these amazing alterations, especially the salvage of the dread mail-order dress that looks nothing like the ad. Great work.
Third world 80's, most satisfying gift as a girl, a trip to the seamstress for your new bday dress. You guys create magic!!
Wow. You did amazing!! Beautiful!!
You definitely have an awesome talent ❤
Shortening this one was definitely the right decision! The shaw really gave it a super classy look.
Ooh... love the ankle length with the heels! So elegant ❤
Wow you are really good and the fabrics are just beauuuutiful!!!
It looked gorgeous! You’re a genius!!

Another amazing alteration, so glad you didn’t cut the first one, it’s too beautiful to cut :,)
Gorgeous ❤ love how the white dress just flows after you fixed it
