Excellent video. Never knew how a dry bib and dry top worked together by "folding". I have a dry top and dry pants but might now try a bib.

@@tomfink5009 you're welcome and the bid definitely works better

When air temps are warm, say 65-80 degrees but water temps still 45-55 degrees, what base layers are you wearing? I have a Kokotat bodysuit fleece base layer for my dry suit, which was fine in the cooler air temps in Alaska, but other times the air temps are too warm to wear fleece bodysuit underneath.

@@Chenabeebee at those air temperatures, I will simply wear a thin wool layer like Kokatats woolcore base layer on the bottom and a thin moisture wicking Long sleeve shirt on the top. I might add the woolcore base layer on the top if I intend to spend time in the water doing rolls or rescue practice.
As temperatures drop, I'll add a fleece top and bottom layer in place of the wool or as an outer layer on top of it, either the habanero liner or a separate top and bottom.

How do you find the leggings keep your feet dry?
I always find that water oozes in where my booties rub against the sock part of my drysuit.

@@mairnealachamu the bibs and pants have the same Goretex socks as a drysuit.
My feet stay dry unless there is a leak in the seams of the socks....which I then seal with Aquaseal or seam sealer.
I feel the cold so I wear a pair of merino wool socks and a pair of fleece ones on top when needed.

@robertnissenbaum thanks. I'll have to try some of that seam sealer.
