Wow, this video was super helpful! I never realized how important it is to really dig into who my audience is and what they care about before starting a podcast. The idea of picking a specific niche, like fitness for busy moms instead of just fitness for everyone, makes so much sense! Also, I loved the tip about starting with a decent microphone without breaking the bank. And using Riverside sounds like a game changer! Recording high-quality audio and video while keeping things simple really makes a difference. Thanks for all the great advice! Can't wait to get started!
Thanks for the tips. We started our ALINER Podcast a few weeks ago. So far going okay. Just using Zoom for the interviews with it's built in recording feature. Pretty fun.
I’ve not personally used SquadCast which is Descript’s remote recording tool for podcasts so I can’t really say. That being said, I’m a fan of streamlined workflows so if you use Descript already, it might be worth checking out SquadCast first. I really like how simple editing is in Riverside but for more elaborate edits, you’d still need to use an external editor like Descript or DaVinci Resolve. So it really depends on your needs! Hope it helps! ✨
Really good video, Riverside is amazing but very pricey for the small amount of recording hours, $15 a month for only 5 hours is terrible and they don't offer an audio only version
I’m so happy you’ve enjoyed it! 🙌 I think it’s pretty competitive considering the features you get with it and compared to what’s on the market. It’s just my opinion of course, it’s always subjective since we all have different needs when it comes to tools 😊
