    The average American is one pay check away from being homeless so I won’t judge the attic guy, but it’s important as men to have a priority’s right. Maybe dating shouldn’t be your main focus right now.

      @@EsiriE Yeah, he had on a sweatshirt, some sweats, IN HIS HOUSE.
      It just sounds like some arbitrary old nibba babble that makes no sense. It sounds good, but when you think about it, wtf is dressing like a teenager, teenagers ACTUALLY strive to dress like adults in terms of casual wear, it's the age where they began to create their fashion identity and create fashion trends that inspire their generation.
      There's an entire UA-cam documentary about if people aged faster in the past, and most of it comes down to how you dress, but there isn't some goofy teenage attire when you dig deeper. It's just there are certain clothes that add the appearance of our social perspective of age.
      The guy in the OP profile pick looks old because of his suit type, configuration, and suitcolor, he looks like he's in his late 40s with his particular facial hair.
      Should we all dress like that to go to Walmart? Sit at home in a gray suit looking like Steve Harvey?
      People dress like they did when their generation inspired their fashion.

      @@EsiriE Yeah, he was just wearing a sweat suit set, I wrote a lot and explained it all, but the comment auto removed.
      But yeah, it's arbitrary, there's studies on this, and no one born today is gonna dress like the guy in the OPs profile pic. The suit and facial hair style makes him look late 40s. I wrote about how there is a connection though, search, "did people age faster," but it's deeper than that, the video is surface level.

    Wishing Gerald all the best in reestablishing himself and trying to get his life in order! It's truly sad, the way some people joke about others living environment(s). Especially, when so many are struggling just to maintain and pay rent/mortgage... along with other basic needs. On average, over 6,000 households per day are threatened with eviction, so life can change at a moments notice for many. My prayer is, that we are more kinder and empathetic towards one another. And regardless of someone's bad choices in their past (multiple kids by various people), we all deserve the right to redeem ourselves and lives for a much better tomorrow. 🙏🏾

      I respect that she's not a BM👩🏾‍🍼 4x's over, or being reckless with the institution of marriage💒. But I think it's difficult for ppl (including me) to fathom why such a beautiful, well kept woman is unwed or without children at the age of 54. Now her career choice is most definitely a TOP reason -- blk ppl, especially blk men (even the law abiding ones), are NOT fans of law enforcement! Also, being around a male dominant industry may naturally make a woman MORE masculine. And if she's attracted to alpha-masculine men, then unfortunately she'll lose in the game of love ❤. Those men prefer femininity in not only looks but in character traits, in which she stated that she struggles with.

    • @DrLoveIsLima
      @DrLoveIsLima 11 місяців тому +3

      @@SweetTriece I’m not sure why there has to be something wrong with her because she isn’t married. I don’t think that means there’s anything wrong with her.

    • @SweetTriece
      @SweetTriece 11 місяців тому

      @@DrLoveIsLima OK, let's be REAL 🙄 and stop ✋🏾 being or acting naive. If a person made it well into their 40's-50's who happens to be extremely beautiful/handsome, in pretty good shape, got there sh*t together, AND have ALWAYS wanted marriage (and a family), they will get scrutinized 🧐 in the dating market place as well as by their family.
      AGAIN, LETS KEEP IT REAL!!
      For example, if a EXTREMLY handsome, educated, well established man (a 6-6-6) came on the show at 54 stating that he had never been married, or had any children, but wanted both all of his adult life, ppl would assume he was GAY, too picky OR a playa'. Especially if he works in a field where he's surrounded by women.
      I don't create or enforce social stigmas, I just understand them and try not to live in dislusion when in "polite" discussion 🙂.
      ...and I never said anything was wrong w/ her. I do recognize that Blk women are much more likely to not get or be married. She is giving herself a winning chance by keeping up her physical appearance and not having (multiple) BD's. But in all honesty, in MY opinion, blk ppl (unlike other groups) look down on law enforcement. Note how KG responded when she mentioned her line of work. There was a brief moment of discomfort that I personally felt. But I could be wrong. Also women, unlike men, that work in law enforcement or in military 🪖 appear masculine by default. These same women want masculine men, but these masculine men may be intimidated by a woman who is THAT independent, and she could probably do a better job protecting them than the other way around 😆

      @MenofValueSpeaks What do you mean natural hair? That's vague. 98% of my clients are natural and I've been a Cosmetologist for years so I'm lost on can we go back to natural hair. People are just not out here getting relaxers like back in the day. Now if you mean go back to hair that we are born with and styled without extensions/wigs then there's a point. But natural hair itself is a vague term.

      @@Issey_B_Devo Bowling is recreational for her but the correlation that I’m making is a woman who is competitive and is invested into something will spend the money, effort, and time into it. That’s not a masculine trait, that’s a person with a certain type of character and ambition. We see this with both sexes, I mentioned Serena Williams because she is female that does this on a larger scale. No different than Tiger Woods. People’s view of masculinity are skewed if they think that her mentioning having invested in bowling equipment makes her masculine. These traits are what separates the top from the rest. Ambition, time, and energy put into getting there and staying there but it starts with the little things.
