I met Saddam Hussein once, in the Toronto subway, during the course of the first Gulf War. At least he SAID he was Saddam Hussein. I was standing among several others awaiting a train when we heard a very animated conversation behind us. At a certain point, the conversation grew so animated, several of us turned to see what was going on, in my case because there was only a single voice and I wasn't sure who he was talking to. As we turned around, the speaker declared that he was Saddam Hussein - although he bore no resemblance whatsoever - and assured us that he was going to "kick our asses", presumably referring to the Coalition that was ranged against him in the Gulf.

"Hitler Has Only Got One Ball", sometimes known as "The River Kwai March", is a World War II British song, the lyrics of which, sung to the tune of the World War I-era "Colonel Bogey March", impugn the masculinity of Nazi leaders by alleging they had missing, deformed, or undersized testicles. Multiple variant lyrics exist, but the most common version refers to rumours that Adolf Hitler had monorchism ("one ball"), and accuses Hermann Göring and Heinrich Himmler of microorchidism ("two but very small") and Joseph Goebbels of anorchia ("no balls at all"). An alternative version suggests Hitler's missing testicle is displayed as a war trophy in the Royal Albert Hall.

This raises a simpler and more fundamental question - it would be a great topic for Mr. Felton to look into. What governments, if any, are in possession of Hitler's DNA? I'm talking about 100% confirmed as Hitler's DNA. The tests mentioned in this video that were done by the journalists, etc, are completely invalid if we don't know 100% they had the correct DNA samples. A positive match confirming paternity is one thing, however a negative match can simply mean you don't have the correct DNA samples. If we don't know for certain the pedigree of the samples, then nothing has been proven either way.

The issue is that in 1945, no one was properly collecting DNA samples because the theory was not developed enough. Biological material was being collected, but not with DNA identification in mind, so such samples either contained no viable DNA to start with or were improperly preserved (often stored in toxic chemicals and/or frequently contaminated), usually destroying the validity of the samples for DNA purposes.
There are purported biological samples of Hitler, be it hair, blood, and other materials. The sourcing of these samples is questionable, because it was not like Hitler was giving away blood, ripped-out hair with root material, and other stuff to people on a regular basis. There is a story that the Soviets found someone they believed was Hitler, collected material from the body, but that is just a story as things stand, and even if they did find a body they thought was Hitler, it does not mean it was actually Hitler, just that they thought it was.

There are a lot of interesting stories on this subject. Unfortunately, nobody has really followed up now that DNA is widely available. For example, it was apparently widely believed that Bormann oldest son was actually Hitlers child. He lived a long life but it was never tested. I would also point out that Hitler only liking younger women isn’t really accurate either, at least based on what I’ve read. Understandably, though, mainstream historians don’t go digging all that deep into this subject.

@@Jonathanbegg I believe you are referring to Winifred Wagner, who was the widow of Wagner's son Siegfried. She was English and I'm not sure where you get the stuff about someone later attacking Hitler from America, unless you are confusing her with Hitler's nephew (who did do all of that). There are several sources that say Hitler discussed marriage with her, as he was a supporter of the family. She was close to 40 at the time, though, so not young.

Well if i would need to take educated guess i would say he would/had been interested very much in Leni Riefenstahl. Younger, for sure his type ( base on Braun and Raubal ) but he would Blomberg himself with this romance. And this is not something he could keep secret - Riefenstahl was no Braun that he could keep away from public. She was known to much to hide such fact.
They were close but Leni past would undermine Hitler rule and position very much.
We would think that person with such power should have no problem with finding spouse with status and past good enough but well as we see - this was not a case. There was a lot of women from nobility in NSDAP which would be perfect match for Hitler in terms of providing more and more legitimization. I guess he was not interested in it.

Well, that's because Hitler was...well...a person. Not a demon ranting and raving at all hours but a deeply troubled and flawed human being. History presents him as this raving lunatic when in reality those who knew him, knew him as a quiet and charming person who loved animals and children. That doesn't mean he didn't do anything WRONG - he certainly played his part - but the reality is, a lot of things attributed to Hitler were carried out by those AROUND him, and he was just the public FACE of the party. Not all decisions made were even his idea. Some were, some weren't, and on some things he was puppeted by other, smarter men who knew how to manipulate his belief system and get him to make orders they wanted him to make.
Hitler didn't start life out with an intention to "kill all the jews" - he BECAME that way over time due to his experiences, his (flawed and incorrect) information sources (remember, the internet did not exist then - you couldn't just look things up), racial beliefs of the time, the aftermath of Germany's loss in WWI and the need he felt for them to reclaim their dignity and power as a people - a LOT of things contributed to Hitler BECOMING the "monster" history remembers him as.
But that's the easy answer. To simply say someone did what they did because they were evil, end of story. Nobody is born evil - in fact I'd argue that there is no true "good" or "evil" - only what we PERCEIVE to be "right" and "wrong" and therefore "good" or "evil" - but morality is not universal among all living things or even among humans. It's much harder to face the truth: Hitler was just another human like you and me and everyone else, and t hat we ALL have the POTENTIAL in us to go to that place and do dark, dark deeds if we allow ourselves to go down that path or to be lead down that path by our experiences and upbringing.
I suggest the film Der Untergang - The Downfall - about Hitler's last days in the bunker. You probably saw a clip from it - it has become that famous meme where Hitler is ranting about this or that topic - "Hitler reacts to _____" - that's from that movie. But it's actually REALLY accurate according to people who really knew Hitler in terms of what he was actually like - so if you want to understand what the real Hitler was REALLY like in daily life, watch that movie.

I do wonder when Linge wrote his memoirs, as if they were during 1970s, it could be argued that he was aware of Loret and added the mention of him in order to ad some salacious spice to Hitler's life. Yes it is true and he actually had two sons. One drove the bus to my school, everybody called him Hitler, even some adult passengers, so they must of been correct. The other works in Slough, as a car parking attendant, who loves giving out tickets to those unable to read the small print on the parking sign. Trust me, today Slough, tomorrow Poland.

An interesting idea. I think that only more widely accepted DNA evidence would prove it one way or the other. Jean would definately have the motive to lie about the whole thing. Much of the evidence against is not really evidence as such. I.e. the idea that Hitler would not have to power to move a lover around the war with him, that bit could be completely false, while the paternaty could still be true. Hitler publically despising relations with local French women, well there have been many cases of persons acting very different in private than their public opinions.

Hitler did indeed like children. My mother had to give Hitler flowers on his birthday when she was 4 (1941); her mother worked in the Reichstag as a tea lady. Mum says Hitler looked scary to her, she dropped the flowers and ran off crying. Hitler wasn't too bothered and laughed it off but Oma gave mum a good hiding when they got home.

My grandmother's family was in the dutch regime placed here during the war, when i was born in 1991 it still played a role in my family, also because in the 60's children from my grandfather came to our family, My family lost a lot of property as reperations after the war and the last pieces they owned got stripped by these children and their mothers after that. in the 90s DNA testing confirmed that my grandfather was their father after some of my family desperately tried to get their ''honour'' back.
Doesnt this man have children of his own that could be DNA tested? surely this mystery can be solved.
its not farfetched at all to have some unknown relatives left on earth from hitler himself and the other top officials.
power corrupts man after all, it has been a rule of nature ever since man exists.

If I had to give a complete logical answer to all this. Loret was Hitler's Illegitimate son and the reason most if not all dna testing facilities said he wasn't was to proect Loret and his family from potential percussion and the burden of knowing that your related to one of the worst men in the history of the world. Yes Hiter did say German soldiers bedding themselves with French women during wartimes is greatly dishonorable, but the man was a well known hypocrite of his own ideologies on multiple occasions especially in the years of the propaganda machine.
