I wouldn’t be a fan of beast gohan beating Broly in his full power super saiyan form. People are thinking gohan can beat Gogeta blue but he’s just too broken and has been stated to have comparable power to beerus. The fact Broly forced goku and Vegeta to fuse is nuts and shouldn’t be taken lightly.

You said exactly what I said in this video about Broly being a candidate. His gold eyed form is on the level of ssb, he's perfect for the role. I like to think Goku mastered the power of all his forms, in his base form, by End of Z.
I do believe thats was the end goal for toryiama. He wanted goku modt powerful form or state to be something akin to his base form. Maybe taking all the positives of every form hw has learned and integrating it into his base form.
I like that they kind of introduced the characters making their transformations their own. For Broly they need to give him a form similar to the one in the DBZ movie when he was on earth but keep his eyes that Ikari form and that'll be his version of super Saiyan beast

Theres always someone stronger than the main protagonist, that motivates them to keep going and get stronger. Why would Beerus ask Goku about god of destruction, when Beerus himself have been teaching Vegeta. At times DB can be inconsistent AF
I think it’s too early to say that Gohan is far and ahead of Goku and Vegita since they always make outlandish statements to hype up characters new transformations, hopefully in the next chapter we can see a Goku vs gohan so we can get an accurate assessment of his level

Although Broly does seem like a good fit for the role considering his similar outfit in Z Broly and his ridiculous power, I'm not sure he would be the new GoD. Broly doesn't really have that destructive tendency unless he rages and loses control and at that point, he's EXTREMELY dangerous. I'd assume that he'd have to have his power under control in order to take up that role but is it something he'd want? It may be farfetched, but I'm thinking Uub may be the next candidate. I think Goku after the upcoming events would have to uphold a promise he made for whatever reason and bring the next GoD candidate, hence him training Uub at the end of Z. It's perfect because he'd get the challenge he always lusts for and at the same time fulfill the promise IF there is one. Uub is the reincarnation of Kid Buu, the being responsible for the massive wipeout of the universe's population. Kinda poetic to have him GoD but for good reasons, not evil.
Uub has a similar personality to Broly in the sense that they are gentle people at heart despite having so much power. He’s definitely not interested in the destroyer route.

Aside from keeping him hidden from Freiza maybe one of the reasons Goku and Vegeta brought Broly to Beerus place is to encourage Beerus to nominate Broly for the destroyer role. As far as Beerus letting his destoryer role go goes, he might just go chill on Earth eating all of his favorite food until he dies of old age since he'd be mortal again, who knows he might even team up with Piccolo and help train the next generation of warriors there, (Pan, Goten, Trunks and maybe even Bulla). Also on a side not I feel like the whole Black Freiza thing might end with Freiza becoming the God of Destruction for Universe 9 since the God from that universe is already doing a terrible job at it so he might be looking for a way out. Plus it would Get freiza out of Goku and Vegetas hair for a good while since he'd have his own universe to rule.

Toyotaro said that he wants to concentrate on new gen chatacters, so Goku and Vegeta, in my opinion, will rest or be in stand by. So...new form is not very usefull, or maybe to make them out of the story by making them angels or G of destruction.
We need a short filler arc of Beerus and his back story like Jujutsu Kaisen did for Gojo, but not as its own entire season. Like, 5-7 episodes of his initial upbringing and ending with the reason he made the decision to become GoD, why Champa was also in there, where they came from, how they get assigned to their universes, etc. Actually, this may require a full season....

I think it will be freeza, Why because of some arcs in DB. Vegeta, Piccolo, Uub, Buu. Al characters that in some way were evil and came to respect goku and even be friends. And im still missing a ton of characters in that list. I think is some ways over time they been building freeza to somewhat respect the monkey. I think with this arc freeza end up eventually respecting goku and vegeta but it will be a frenemy type situation to begin. I also predicted vegeta getting a ultra ego years before it happened at the end of the tournament. Of course i didnt call it ego, but i did state it be the alternate form to gokus ultimate defence, and that it include god of destruction powers.

Goku, Gohan & Broly will never be real candidates for GoD simply because they’re inherently peaceful & lack the cold mindset required to truly bring out its full power & execute its responsibilities.
Similarly, Frieza will never be a GoD because he wants to rule the universe instead of serve it & would only abuse said power towards that end which is why he’ll never be entrusted with it.
Vegeta checks all the boxes because he’s always had the ability to be coldly pragmatic when necessary which is essential for a GoD, he has the right mindset to fully explore the power of Destruction & despite his arrogance is still willing to humble himself & serve if he sees a cause worthy of it.

I think people forget just how long Beerus has lived, he is looking to retire sure but it could take a very long time for Goku or Vegeta to surpass him and he sleeps for decades at a time.
It would be strange for Whis or Shenron to grant them an extended life span which would let them live out their days with their families and continue to train to grow stronger.
Either way neither Gohan nor Goku have the temperament for destruction… nor does Broly to be honest.
Vegeta or Freeza are the GoTo picks for taking over the role for me, specifically Vegeta as he has a much more balanced personality.
